This is halftime drum 'n bass. So it's two times slower than the normal dnb beat. So it IS drum 'n bass. It's def not dubstep.
@igrowweedfromaseed let me explain why its considered dnb, the tempo and drum pattern, if it were 140 half time without the crazy high hats, then it would be dubstep, its just a technical thing tho, people shouldnt get too hung up on genres when it comes to electronic music

@igrowweedfromaseed sry, i didn't mean any hate, but you can't just say that it is a certain genre "to [you]", what I was trying to get at is that genres have specificities that can't really just be bent, so they should be disregarded completely
it wouldn't be sick if they had UKFDrumstep because pretty much every DnB song Played on UKF is Drumstep .... so he mite aswell get rid of this youtube account if that comment was to make sense -_-

yeah this is DnB not all DnB tracks have to be tackatackatackatack it can have the wobbles if you had it on 720p you would have noticed the under lining beat under the wubby ness. :D

@TurkishHegemony Ok while I'm pretty sure you're right that there's no difference in audio between 360p and 720p on a tv or in the way the audio is played, there is a definite difference on RUclips. If you click onto the 720p, you can hear the audio become clearer and slightly crisper (Not a treble & highs type of crisp, just much more pronounced). Hope this helps.

....and Dubstep is about 120-140 BPM
of course every artist changes things there's dubstep with abour 110 BPM and so on..

@hehehe929 I know the technacalities and all, just yeah, you always get d'n'b artists sampling dubstep, and I just think in this the bass and wobble are so heavy it's not drum and bass? People are saying drumstep, but that's another misconception, I trust UKF and it's uploaded, we should all be happy :')

@SilentEliminator disagree but thats my opinion :s. Anything thats got dubstep in i cannot bare listening too. I like the start but apart from that it isnt in what ide call "Drum and Bass". Yeh i agree on beat being big but the other part sound is like an alien screaming :3

drumstep never existed before dubstep... it is fully just another style of dubstep... you can tell by the slower bass drum... however, the beginning of the track is drum n bass... but the main track is drumstep so this should be under ukf dubstep...

Why's this on UKFDrum&Bass? Should be on UKFDubstep IMO, but hey, good thing I'm subscribed to both channels. Just think a lot of Dubstep listeners may miss this song, cos it's on a DnB channel.
Although UKF is all United Kingdom they should definitely check out Big Chocolate. He produces some of the most intense DnB ever heard. Check him out anyone and everyone. Your shit will be blown in half.

It's not dubstep. Listen to the drums. Dubstep is 140bpm, this is not. Saying this is dubstep because it has wubs is like saying jazz is heavy metal because it has a guitar.

Drumstep uses a lot of hats in the beat and is also at around 85bpm. The notes are at half time, though, so it seems like it's normal drum and bass.

It's at 175, so it's not Dubstep. It's just 2-steppy DnB with the kind of bassline used in a lot of Dubstep tracks. Get it right. Dubstep's at 140.
