🔴*I hope you enjoy this instalment in my Brazil series, I shared a bit of everything in the video as I feel that diversity is Brazil's biggest attraction.* Brazil is full of so much love and diversity. I absolutely love this country and I am not just saying that - the people, the landscapes, the history and the food. A-Z it is wonderful. If you missed the last episode where I went deep into São Paulo (biggest city in Brazil and in the southern hemisphere - 20 million people) then you can watch that here:

Love your vídeo
thank you :)
How about i go to your country and point out the messed up aspects of it and try to make loney out of it?
@@pauls8430 Hi Paul, I spoke about an important historical event in your nation's past, if that upsets you, I am sorry but it is reality. It doesn't mean anything towards the people of beautiful Brazil. And please feel free to go to New Zealand and make videos about the short falls it has. I would like that because hiding from reality really doesn't get you too far. Emotions can be deceiving. This video shows the good and bad. AKA, reality. If we forget or cover up the past, we are bound to repeat it. History teaches us that all the time. Again, thanks for watching and have a good one, Nick.
@@IndigoTraveller, today we know that there is no better place in the world than your land, New Zealand.
“Some people are not that wonderful, not that nice, especially the politicians.”
How familiar...
Yeah, the funny thing though is that ppl still ask for more and stronger govt. which actually means that they want more of those not so nice politicians.
It seems like politicians are cursed everywhere... at least 80% of them all around the world
@@dannaarde8541 We can say that the majority of them are bad but they come in a scale from inefficient to horrible. It can always get worse as we demand for more state and more of them.
@@Warzoooooo it’s easier for one corrupt politician to take control than multiple politicians. Bigger governments are needed as more regulation is needed. Look up checks and balances. It’s not that hard to understand lol.
@@ErrolCe You are kidding right? Big govt does NOT refer to the number of politicians and bureaucrats, rather to the extent that the govt control society. And historically a big govt usually tends to be more corrupt as well.
Anyone who has lived in Brazil (like myself) knows how truly special this country & its people are. This is something difficult to describe in words & which I am yet to find anywhere else.
Ohh😊
You Brazilian knows English , you tube comments proves that

Diego is an excellent guide, in addition to showing interesting places that only locals know, he translates the residents' speeches correctly.
His only Mistake was never correcting Nick saying ObrigadA the entire trip.
🇯🇲🇯🇲🇧🇷🇧🇷
I thought so too. Nick should take him around with him. And then they can pick up a new guide and so on and so forth. Until there is a crowd.
He is fine, but in that first video he missed so much information about the city, did not talk about the architecture of downtown, famous bars and restaurants. They should have invited a third friend who has a different way of seeing thing, someone who actually lives in the neighborhood areas to tell more accurate information of those locations.
I love it anytime you talk with the people , simple conversation but it feels like close.
Thanks Karya, that is the goal. :)
Same.
Apparently, Diego is a good and reliable guide. His English is great - the explanations look convincing. I look forward to watching the next episode of your Brazil's journey.
Totally, Diego is top notch!
I am Brazilian and I never knew about this accident. In the city of Goiania there was a radioactive accident in the 1980s and some people, especially this new generation, do not know it.

Isso me incomodou do vídeo dele.
Good quote, man, these bloggers, show the slums in Brazil, but what about Avenida Paulista, The students at the Brazilian Universities, The Butantã, etc. Hey Nick, I have seen all your videos on India and Pakistan, as a Native Brazilian, I can tell you, I have been in many places in India ?????
We just spent 6 months making films in Brazil. We absolutely loved Rio! Enjoy man! Hit us up and let's meet up somewhere in South America👌

You can't compare the videos of this channel with yours!!! Yours are wonderful and fun to watch. I loveeeee you both and your channel!!!! This video does not reflect the reality...Very sensacionalist and lurid...
I agree 100% did a bad job in the video, shows 10% Brazil Beauty and 90% bad things. Brazil is much more than 10%
Your hitchhiking journey was tremendous and awesome. I love that video.

This is one of the best travel channels I’ve ever seen, amazing content man. Mad respect for what you do.
These videos are so good. Strangely calming. Stuck inside my apt in New York, its snowing and corona exists. This is a hugely welcome escape.

Muito obrigado, Nick. You are a compassionate and brave soul. Thank you for what you do to bring the truth about so many sides of humanity that few get to or want to see. So glad your own dream of visiting Rio has come true.
Thank you, Alan, that truly means a lot. Hope you will enjoy the rest of the series!

Love tuning in/watching your videos every Sunday!! You take me to far off places Nick, thank you and keep it coming.
Just discovered this channel and very glad I did. What a fantastic insight into places I will probably never get the opportunity visit. You give a fair, balanced view in all your videos from the best to the worst that these places have to offer. Makes me appreciate how good we have it in the UK. A real eye opener. Such amazing humble people you meet as well. Thanks for sharing your experience. Big thumbs up!!
I made the trip from Rio to Santos and back a few years ago. What an amazing adventure before the pandemic. Driving there was an experience I will never forget. It looks like I had more time then you did and was able to explore a little more. Great video brought back some good memories.
Every time he said "obrigada" they laughed alittle
I look forward to traveling with you through these videos! Brazil has always been on my list of top places i’d LOVE to visit. I like how you show the fortunate, the less fortunate, and everything in between in these countries you visit. Thank you sir!!
Another great vid from Nick!!!! 👍👍👍 Keep up the great work!!!
Really enjoyed these two videos in Brazil. I’ve lived here for 17 years as an expat in Rio and São Paulo and appreciate that you’re showing a different picture about what it’s really like. I currently live in the interior/country side of SP and it’s very different here too. Brazil has many different faces that many will never see or experience. Enjoy and be safe.
Really enjoying this Brazil series. One of the most well documented and complex countries in history can’t wait for the day I visit myself. It’ll feel so surreal. Cheers from Brooklyn, New York 🍻

Ive spent 6 months of my life in Brasil such a beautiful diverse country with beautiful landscapes and beautiful people. Don't flash your wealth, keep wise, stay happy and humble and attempt the language and youll make some friends for life. Ive seen much of brasil but that feeling you get when youre in Rio is unforgetable and its almost brought me to tears, the only othe place to do that was north Brasil in the cities in the Amazon. Love the video bro, although its not a written law its a common error to switch genders when saying thank you but men tend to say obrigado not obrigada but most people shorten the word anyway. Its good to see you in my favourite country.
Thanks mate. You have shown me so much that I couldn't have seen elsewhere. Best of luck mate. Stay safe.

Thank you, Jason. That is the ultimate goal for me so to hear you saying that is great to me :)
True, same reason I've been watching as well
You need to visit Chapada dos Veadeiros (Veadeiros Plateau). It's a wonderful mountainous region in the brazilian savanna, a couple hours by car from Brasília (our capital)
Chapada dos Viadeiros não tem favelas 🤡
Being from Santos myself, I was absolutely thrilled when I saw you went there! Wish you had filmed it more, although totally understand that you were only passing by. Anyway, amazing videos as always!
Hello Nick! Happy Sunday! Love these videos! Always learn so much from your videos. So much to learn about Brazil. I have always wanted to visit there as well. Be safe in your travels. God bless you
Wow, I'm Brazilian and haven't heard about this city. I live far away, Brasília. Quite informative video, thanks

Love how you show the history as well as the country, really interesting!
Appreciate that, thanks for watching!
Watching your videos is doable because you show it all, not just the "bad". Fair, very fair.
It's a country that deserves so much more exploring. I have never been there, so it's nice to see videos from there
Once I was traveling on a motorcycle (1991) and when I arrived in Cubatão I stopped and put on my waterproof clothes because when I saw the black clouds I thought it was rain. It was pollution.
Lovely scenes of Sao Paulo, Cubatao, Santos, Paraty etc. I'm Scottish and lived there for 18 years and used to go to the beaches around Santos most weekends.
Paraty was one of my favourite destinations for long weekends and extended holidays.....it's so lush and tropical, by the sea, the islands and right next to the Atlantic rain forest with the ancient, "caminho de ouro," or gold trail, paved centuries ago by slaves, and with massive stone boulders leading the trail all the way from Minas Gerais to the coast. The gold and minerals were brought to Paraty where they were taken to the then capital, Rio de Janeiro and then onwards to Portugal.
As an American male tourist mate, you need to man up a bit and learn at least the most basic of exchanges with the locals. As a guy, you need to thank people by saying, "obrigado," ending in the letter, "o," and not, "obrigada," ending in, "a," which is what a girl would say!! :)
Well done for the beautiful images and great memories you brought back to me.
P.S. watch you don't get your expensive camera equipment nicked out there. Do you really need to film in the favelas?
O is for addressing males A is for addressing females .

Tragic as it was, the explosion that killed over 500, by high octane gas accidentally released causing a huge fireball is NOT Brazil's Chernobyl !!!! That was NOT caused by faulty NUCLEAR power plant explosion still spewing radiation to this day, covered by a huge containment arc.
Horrible comparison made only to get views! A nuclear accident is very different!
