After his fight with Lara, Canelo accused Lara of running instead of fighting. Seemed liked Canelo liked what he believed Lara was doing. Because that is exactly what Canelo was doing in this fight, he was running.

Canelo imposed his kind of fight and not the other way around. Canelo landed the better clean crisp punches. Canelo worked the head and the body. I saw a close fight and I might even agree with a draw just to be generous, but in all honestly Canelo won this fight by at least 1 round. I saw the punch stats and I still don't understand how triple G had more landed punches. Many boxing fans want to see a fight but don't understand that this is boxing. If you want to see a fight go watch Worldstar lmao

i've never heard of a rematch clause that is triggered by the challenger. the guy who has the belts to defend going into the fight is always the one who has the option of triggering any rematch clause, and that is always after a competitive loss. wlad for example, lost his titles to fury and had the option to exercise the rematch clause. had fury lost or drawn, he wouldn't be able to trigger any rematch clause demanding another fight. this is the weirdest thing i've ever heard where the challenger who receives a draw on the scorecards can unilaterally trigger a rematch with the champion. that even makes this stink more like a golden boy fix after all the weird scorecards handed in for canelo's past fights.

I Feel, Alvarez is being given Boxing Royalty status which, I don't believe he has earned yet, he very well may one day but not yet. I want to be fair to him because all people should be treated fairly. GGG is the Champion, her won the fight, and should be afforded the rematch option.
