@@martinwehning2518 Dakhabrakha is one of the best groups I have ever been fortunate to hear.
They can handle most forms of Music and do it flawlessly.
The political effort to use them to Promote Victoria Nuland's War appears to be a flop, but I assume they get to tour thanks to some State Department Cash, or some ukltra Right Wing Rich Guy bringing them over.
They are without a doubt, the best....

Unfortunately, they are not the most famous Ukrainian band. Okean Elzy, The Hardkiss, Antitila, Onuka are more popular. They all are brilliant and deserve way more popularity and fame, than they have.

DakhaBrakha use in their songs the texts of old songs or poems of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, or very ancient, almost forgotten folk songs, and sometimes they combine both. I called it jazz along with folk emotions and country music. They are unique and their music is also unique.

DakhaBrakha is very famous outside of Ukraine. Probably because they do not make typical pop music, but something unique. ONUKA is known for much the same reasons. You can try the track "ONUKA - ZENIT (feat. NAONI Orchestra)". Or their collaboration with DakhaBrakha - "UYAVY (feat. DakhaBrakha)".

This band is a kind of folk-punk, it fuses ethnic sounds, and uses diverse styles, from rhythm and blues, European folk, Ukrainian, jazz, it's a unique sound, it blows your mind when you hear it for the first time. My first contact was with "Yankee", a brutal song, from there I started to follow them.
