Bridgett I hope you realize just how fortunate you are to have your sweet mom to go antiquing with. My mom will be 92 this month and is in a nursing facility. Watching you and your mom together brings back so many happy memories of when me and mine use to go places together. She has Parkinson’s and early dementia. So hard seeing her like this because she was always on the go and stayed active. I try to go visit with her every other day if not every day. Sometimes she’ll bring up something we did together. We really had some good times and lots of laughs thank goodness she still has her wit and we still have good times together just not the way I ever thought it would be. So cherish the time you spend together. Will see you next video.
Dear Bridgett, you and your mom are so precious together. I know how much you appreciate having her with you to shop and decorate and do things, to chat with and just be together. I'm with your mom about not getting on the interstate. I absolutely freak whenever we have to drive on 40. I noticed the beautiful braided rug in your mom's dining room and it is really something I would like to get for our living room. Would you know where she purchased it? I know there are places to order them online but I've been disappointed several times with quality. Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful finds. You must have amazing Goodwills near you - I have never seen anything like the things you've found at the thrift stores near us. Looking forward to your next video. Bridgett, I think that you really lucked out on that wooden piece you got at Goodwill! It looks like Peaseware! If it is, they are very expensive pieces! I love your candle sconce that you made, and also the one you hung between Mr. and Mrs. Pearce. Why doesn’t my goodwill ever have any good antique pieces! I check almost every week, although I did get some real nice antique baskets for cheap there! I am always looking for a whale’s tail cabinet to hang on the wall also. I love the one you got! Since most antique redware is not considered food safe by today's standards, I buy Ned Foltz redware. I have one antique redware plate that I love, but only look at. I like using my antiques, when practical, and using lead-glazed, antique redware is not practical. All Foltz pottery is made using 200-year-old PA - German traditional methods except for the glaze, which is lead-free and food safe. It is excellent redware and can even withstand an occasional dishwasher cycle. I have a great Ned Foltz pie plate that bakes the best pies! Anyway, I intended to comment on your outstanding Goodwill finds!

I’m trying to convert our home to your styling for a while now. You’re helping so much with all your tips and fabulous guests, and tours.
