Fall Cottage Style Decor With Neutrals - Thrift Haul Makeovers

- In today's video I'll show you how to makeover thrifted home decor to create Cottage Style Fall Decor very inexpensively and simply. I will use neutral colors and ivory colored chalk paint to create a timeless look that pairs perfectly with rich Fall colors of beige, cream, rust, orange, and green. You'll see how the use of just a few things can help you create the cozy Fall theme that we all love for this time of year. These colors are perfect for the coming months when we transition to soft muted Fall colors, creature comforts, and texture. These neutrals can stand alone in very muted decor themes and also provide contrast to deeper traditional Fall colors. I think these Cottage Style tips will help you find inspiration to move beyond late Summer themes and transition into cozy Fall vibes and hues.

Johni , why in the world would you be bothered by your southern accent? I think it’s charming and you speak so softly. I am southern (North Carolina) and I am proud of it and unbothered at all by the way I speak and it’s definitely more twangy than yours. Lol. I loved your projects! Your creative eye really helped me see how to use some thrift sale fines to make something lovely for our our church charity fundraiser. I have to tell you I love southern accents. I think they are absolutely beautiful. Even though I've lived in South Carolina most of my life, as a child, I lived in Indiana. I don't have a Southern accent and I wish I did!

Comme toujours les objets sont très beaux 🤗😄et celui que je préfère est la coupe que tu as réussi à décorer avec le "air dry clay". Le résultat est tellement joli 🫶😍. Ne t'en fais pas pour ton accent, d'autres youtubers ont un accent du sud comme par exemple Susie de "Susie on a farm" ou Teresa de "our greene acres" et les gens s'en fichent. Moi même je suis allemande qui vit depuis 35 ans en France et encore aujourd'hui on me dit que j'ai un accent 🤷 et ce n'est pas grave. Bonjour de la France et reste en forme 👍😀

I'll also tell you that your accent is really not all that southern, I live in Texas and you'd sound for sure like a Yank in my city. Why would it bother you about your southern accent? I am proud to be southern.
I’m proud to be Southern, however, in my past career with a national company some people perceived Southerners as not being very smart until we were further into a conversation in meetings so there’s that. 🤠❣️
@@karoleenascottage that’s their stupidity. I worked in emergency rooms all over the country and found the same thing until about a week in then they realized I was very smart and knew what I was doing. Even when I was made fun of I never was not proud of my heritage. I am a very proud southerner.
