Every tecumseh engine I come across goes straight in the scrap metal pile, I don’t even keep parts, well maybe the fuel tanks and ignition coils that’s about it, keep up the good vids, stay safe
Nice fix mate....Gazza from Downunder here.I have 2 Tecumseh motors on Victa decks..yep they can be a bit moody and need a bit of lovin but they are solid and powerful.
Man Mick that was a great find and fairly easy fix to get it ready for sale. I am surprised with your knowledge and expertise that you did not know the Left Handed mowers are for the southern hemisphere. I wonder how that one got up there. Hmm. Great video for sure.

A great fix Mick. I had a late 70s Tecumseh in a while ago on top of a Mountfield , it had a side recoil that was a nightmare as it wouldn’t engage properly. The governors had been mucked about with and when trying to start it if it didn’t snap back at you it would rev its nuts off. Glad to get shut of it 😳 Great channel Mick, keep them coming. How do I get a sticker fella 👍🏼

Hi mick funny enough I acquired one of these today but red with self propelled with tecumse engine 10 quid same problem runs then stops talk about good timing I had it on the bench and was thinking one bolt 🔩 on left side of carb nearest engine near exhaust is gonna be a pig 🐷 to get to. But now will try it your way!! Thanks for another great video 📹 keep em coming.

I PICK UP THE SAME MOWER LONG LONG TIME AGO WITH THE SAME ENGINE . THE ENGINE HAD A BENT CRANK AND I COULD NOT GET THE BENT BLADE BOLT OUT . AND I HAVE STILL GOT THE BENT BLADE BOLT .
😂😂😂 I am Canadian dissent and I have started speaking a lot of Canadian because I like to work on a lot of vintage Tecumsehs when come along. Must be a pandemic of its own. I agree with you though these used to Tecumsehs are just thrown together
@@themowerman Doing pretty good how about yourself and yes I agree it will make a pretty penny for someone I feel bad you had to work on that but every once in a while when you’re a mechanic you come across that one brand I’ve been there before myself to that one brand I just despise and I am with you about Tecumseh unless it’s the 1960s Tecumseh Lawson
