The thought of "saving" the Great Exhibition" pen from damage and commissioning this one is a fantastic idea. William did a fantastic job once again.
Love the way it wrote, grail writer for me! Stephen write the date down when you started writing with it and when it runs out of ink, could be a world record length of time on one fountain pen fill! Maybe worth submitting to the Guinness book of world records! Ha! Jude
This really is super cool Stephen! It would make a super cool SBRE pen 2 project, I for sure would want one, but I understand that would be quite an undertaking for William and yourself. Either way, I really enjoyed the review and seeing you light up about your new pen! Amazing work William Shakour, and much love good sir!
Some of biggest Titan pens I have seem are handmade Indian ebonite s. Though large, they are amazingly light and are fun to write with
Really glad to see you’re still going after all these years. My interest in fountain pens was very fleeting, but I always check up on the scene every once in a while.
An amazing pen. And I can quite see why you commissioned it. The one thing I will take away from this review is that the ink is a. Dry nice shade of brown - and I don’t have any browns in my ink collection. Looks like I’m about to spend some money!
Looks like an amazing fun project and pen. Please do put William's info on description!
How cool that such thing is possible now with 3D printing - and I am very glad you could get your ideal pen (copy) and wish you lots of more fun with it 😄

Love that #8 ti
I agree, the titanium bock nibs are not flex nibs at all, though they are generally nice and bouncy. I feel that bock double broads are generally very useable- on par with a single broad Lamy 2k.
With my eyedroppers I usually let them warm up in my hand tip up for a little while to let the air expand before it gets a chance to force a feed full of ink out onto what I'm writing.
Beautiful pen, thank you for sharing.
Stephen, you should set up a project to have him do a pen 1/2 size with #6nib and bottle of your ink....I would buy that! Rachelle in Seattle
Very nice to see you so happy!!
Gorgeous pen. Love its subtle, efficient lines, and that smokey material. Maybe not quite so long for me, and cappable.
Dr. Brown; thank you for sharing your enthusiasm (even thought we can't buy the pen)!
Outstanding
Nice to see you happy.
That is great. Thanks for sharing!
Concerning breaking a pen, a very stoic pen reviewer ones said: A pen is just a pen, it is just a thing and some day, things break ...
I love this pen, more than the too artistic original ...
Great Esbreownition!
Love the respect. Like you said, it's someone's legacy so we should try to preserve their work so it can live on. Also, dang I started laughing when you took in the Pilot to show the size difference, its so big the next step up is just shoving a feed and nib into the cap of a bottle of Noodlers HAHA!
People will ask, is that a pen in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? It's cool, I'd take one
Instead of eye dropping you can store four Pilot Metropolitan pens in the barrel. 😀😀
It really is a very cool pen. Great video. Thank you.
feel you
I love the pen!!!!
This is a tremendous pen, both in size and style. Does Titan pens do special orders regularly?
William is a genius!
Cooool pen!!
Oh my God Becky, look at that pen
It is so big, it looks like
One of those rap guy's fountain pens
...
I mean, that pen it's just so big
Uh, I can't believe it's just so round, it's like out there
Did you say 14 or 40ml?
Am I the only one who thinks the name "Great Exposition" with such a large pen was a deliberate pun?
That is a massive pen!! I suppose since that is a one-off, and unless someone else decides to make that size pen, one would have to settle for something like a Ranga model 5 for a #8 nib.
I have a gorgeous all-red Ranga model 5 with #8 sized 18k Bock B nib.
Yep, I do enjoy Ranga model 9B Giant with #8 B-CI Ti Bock, Iced Mocha P32 acrylic. This video makes me think about a second unit of 9B for #8 BB nib.
@@tayterlik From Ranga's website, the Giant 9B has the same dimensions as the Model 5. Me I would prefer the 5 in Ebonite threaded for the Bock #8 nib unit.
@@zeus52452 Same dimensions, just 9B has an hourglass shaped section - which I do prefer. I am waiting for the next group buy to order P5 ebonite (blue + cream) unit.
Your video reminds me of the end of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”:

I can’t believe how big that pen is, but I’m thrilled it is just what you wanted! Kudos to Mr Shakour for coming through for you so phenomenally. The logo is so sharp and clear, too!
I’m so glad you shared this pen with us!
Wow! 14 milliliters!
Doesn't it burp?
Edit: you addressed my question about burping.
Another thought:
It holds almost an entire small bottle of 15ml iroshizuku 😂
I think that nib looks way too small for that pen. Perhaps a no. 16 nib would do 😹.
What's yo name? stephen, don't mind
😁😁🥲🥲🙏🙏... I think that about sums it up! (Translation: I am grinning like an idiot because I am happy you are so happy with it, feeling very touched and very greateful ❤❤❤)
I don't suppose you kept the file for anyone wanting to make such a special order? That is a great looking pen!
@@taklebury I did, but I don't feel comfortable selling them. I am not sure the good folks at Conway Stewart would be happy with me doing that either. The other thing is that because of the great size of the pen, they are very tough to print (the failure rate is quite high). So sorry to disappoint.
