The first hit on the 21" had me "Walking on the sun". They all sound great, but that one was definitely my favorite. Especially with the addition of the sizzle.

Great video! I'm just changing all my stagg cymbals because they broke to Bosphorus!!! The first drum covers with two 18" crashes (Gold Series and Turk Series) are already done! They sound so great!!! Love them! From time to time will come new ones! This company is so great! And just got an 18" FX Turk crash and 18"FXTurk China. Amazing! Subbed!
These sound incredible. Excellent playing alls. Which sticks are you using? Sticks play a huge role in the sound and performance of cymbals and drums. I prefer a 5A to more of a jazz style stick. I’m really enjoying Vater Sugar Maple sticks. And Vater Sweet Ride. Vic Firth Peter Erskine sticks are nice for when I need more volume and speed
My absolute favorite stick for cymbals is the Vater Bebop 550 in Maple. They offer them in three different sizes (500; 525; 550) and two different weights/species (maple/hickory). The tip is very similar to Erskine ride. That’s what I used in this video.
@@malonedrum I need to order that one. Never heard of it. I just found they make a maple version of the Sweet Ride. And a Hickory version of the Super Jazz. Swing the Super Jazz maples. Love em for church. It takes warming up and 15 minutes of playing to adapt to the lightness. But then it’s flying away after that.
Great video, the story and the sound test, the 21” 1600 era sounds amazing! My favorite definitely, I have a question, which is the weight of that cymbal?
Love the syncopation ride from the fist stroke
Absolutely

Nice Smash Mouth reference, underrated signature drum tone to call out.
super clean syncopation ride - 1600 era is still fav... Sounding life Hammer in that first demo
🙏🙏

@@jaymeramirez7435 They have a great offering with slight variations to really contract your perfect size stick.
Oh! That 21" ride!
She’s a beaut.
I just got the 22 inch 1600 Era ride! You make them sound good, Mike!
Gaff-Daddy!
Great video, the story and the sound test, the 21” 1600 era sounds amazing! My favorite definitely, I have a question, which is the weight of that cymbal?
Not sure exact weight, but it’s in the thin - med. thin range
@@malonedrum awesome! thank you!
Congrats Mike! what are the weights?Bosphorus have been my only cymbals for many yrs now.
Ehhh, can't remember the exact weights but I typically request Med Thin or Thin on all my cymbals.
@malonedrum they are usually under bell , Bosphorus usually marks them but not always
