These things always scared me and still do, the way they thump about literally shaking the enviorment. The fact that they take so much punishment while their attacks do the most out of any enemy in the game, to even the godzilla like roar. Every time i saw them i would just run into a small room and hope they would never come in to get me.
well, if I remember correctly, there were at least two guys in the game who thought hiding in a small space would save them and it didn't turn out very well for them, haha anyway, hell knight really is in many ways the most frightening monster in the game, especially in hell, where you lose all your weapons and you have to fight the first one just with your shotgun. I also love the moment when you call the elevator and a Hell Knight is waiting for you inside, somewhere near the end of the game. And yes, the sound of his footsteps making the ground shake like the T-Rex in Jurassic Park is fuckin awesome.
@Ken Matharoo yes, not much different from classic hell knights, but they can be really tough in small spaces, since their attack does so much spread damage, it means whenever you're near a well and they target you, you're as good as dead :D
@@ComradePopov They are one of the easiest enemies in this game, as long as, like you've said, you're not in small or tight places. Once you have space to dodge you can easily kill them with minimal effort. Chaingunner Commandos killed me more often than Hell Knights 😁
I was glad the Hell knights in this game made it to later games like 2016 and eternal so they aren't just a recolor of them. Also in Hell they have pentagrams on their heads and are slightly darker.
