- One of the most nomadic cops in Arizona has finally lost his license to be a police officer in the state.
The Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board unanimously voted to revoke the certification of Joel Christian Ensley at its August meeting. The vote came after an administrative law judge denied Ensley’s challenge to the board’s case against him.

Lost his license???? How about life in prison for abusing constitutional rights???
Lets tack on manufacturing probable cause, false arrest, filing false police reports, and possibly falsifying court documents.
Violating the Constitution is not a serious crime despite holding the constitution up in such high regards
All of the officers who pulled on top of the victim who was being illegally "arrested" should also be fired.
Why weren't they, and if I was that guy I would sue
I don’t know enough about the whole situation to say whether I agree with that, but I understand where you are coming from, but the POS saying Get on your back while 3-4 guys are on you and you’re being tasered, clearly a highly critical thinker. MAKE OFFENSIVE TASERING ILLEGAL WITH MANDATORY SENTENCES.
Nope. They should be in prison for aggravated assault.
@@eighthave Colorado passed a law that makes it a felony for a police officer to stand by and do nothing while another officer is clearly using excessive force or otherwise breaking the law.
They also eliminated qualified immunity for police who violate the civil rights of people.
I think those were the "good" cops we hear so much about
The REAL problem isn't that there was a bad cop. The REAL problem is that all of the other cops in his departments ignored his bad behavior and illegal actions for years, if they were not actually assisting him in it.
I think it's that there aren't bad cops on the job. It's that cop jobs attract bad people.
They're basically a gang of thugs.
That was actually the case. The county he worked in had many Brady-listed cops fired from other counties. They all need to be punished.
Sounds like JFK. Murder in 1963. Everyone had a ss badge they forgot it’s the nazis SS badge
From what I've seen on these platforms is that the good cops get threatened by the bad ones.
This happens every day all across the USA. He should be charged, tried and put in prison. These ones are just F'ing THUGS.
End Qualified Immunity and start holding law enforcement officers accountable for their criminal actions and lying.
Better yet - Abolish and Disband the F.O.P. As an Unconstitutional organization and Govern ourselves as it was intended to be under the Constitution.

So it took almost 30 years and six departments to get rid of this friggin dinosaur??? Nice job!!!!!
You can thank the police unions for having such strong contracts that it's almost impossible to actually fire a police officer. There's a story of a police officer, caught on body camera, kneeing a handcuffed suspect in the head that was sitting still. He was arrested on four separate counts, two of which are felonies, and he's on paid administrative leave until the conclusion of his criminal case, including all appeals. That means he'll be sitting in jail, collecting his paycheck, for years until his appeals are over. That's how screwed up the police unions have made the situation.
How disgusting! So he that POS wanted to fight the claim’s until the actual court date.
I love when their watch ends and I see that funeral
As a general rule, they always do, and mostly win 😮
In England a "bobby" (nickname for their cops) was seen switching price labels on carrots and donuts. He lost his job and is now on their "do not hire" list.

I think that a lot of it has to do with the strong police union here in the States.
Do the policemen belong to a union in the UK?

Every last one should be fired. All of them!!! Nationwide. The higher ups are allowing this.

News flash...good , honest , decent , sympathetic people don't get hired onto the police force. 💯 If you're a horrible person , and enjoy doing bad things to people , just become a police officer . It's an easier way to get away with all of it.
The cops get to investigate themselves, do you think they are going to put one another on the Brady list? What we need are public review boards that investigate the police. No more internal investgations!
💯
They've tried this in a few states but for some strange reason all of these citizen review boards have one or more retired cops on them...! They will never give control to civilians because they use the excuse that a civilian doesn't know what it's like to be a cop so it makes them biased or just not informed enough to make decisions about what they do... It's a disgusting and pathetic excuse if you ask me...!
I remember going to the local police department's internal affairs department to make a complaint. There, they intimidated me to where I started worrying for my safety and thinking I might get arrested and not be free to leave their office. Seemed to me like they didn't take my complaint seriously or with a sense of responsibility, but rather viewed it as some kind of a threat to their authority. I've had this same experience twice. In two different states. Shame on them.

Excellent work. This is the media doing it's job at it's finest. I hope all those other cops that dog piled that guy in the lobby got some form of punishment as well.
Never any kind of accountability when you get to investigate yourself.
If these departments actually cared about losing the public’s trust, this officer would have been disqualified years ago. Only the most egregious cases (when caught on video) get any real action and even then, it’s rare.
Even then it is only if there is an unending public uproar which they just can not hide from will they actually do something. Even then they will drag it out for years hoping that they can sweep it under the rug at some point when all the excitement dies down. Often they are fired then rehired.

25 YEARS! ....of TERRORIZING American citizens!
Same with pedo-priests.
I know that there is no way to gather the information, but I think the taxpayers would lose their sh*t if we could see how much taxpayer money bad cops cost the taxpayers nation wide. We hear of the settlements in the millions, but for every one of those, how many are in the hundreds of thousand dollars. Google says there are 660,288 full time law enforcement officers in the states. A one thousand dollar lawsuit settlement for each of the 660,288 officers, and as we know some have more than one, and few would be for less than a thousand dollars, would be $660,288,000.00. To the Officers, a mere pittance, because it is taxpayer dollars, nothing comes out of the officers wallet. What could the figure reach by the time a bad officer retire? On top of this, how much taxpayer money is spent to fund the entire department, or all the departments in the country?
What a coincidence the catholic church moves pedo priests around, just like corrupt cops do.

There is so much abuse by cops, it's honestly hard to know if there are any good ones left
When were there any good ones? Historically, policing has been done by people that couldn't find a place in normal society.
Yeah. Police departments don't hire friendly , sympathetic, good listeners. Cops are the grunts of society. They must be mindless enough not to question any order given to them . They also don't feel bad about killing children and elderly people too. It's quite sad and pathetic. I saw training video where the Sergeant told everyone , if you can't shoot a child or elderly person , you have no business being a cop . 💯
There aren’t. The good ones are forced to quit because they’re not corrupt enough.

Shouldn’t this disgrace officer be charged for all the crimes he committed under the color of law and be put behind bars? He is a sociopath and a violent person, a danger to society
They need to reexamine all of his arrests.
Yes they do! But they won't because: 1) the more illegal arrests we find, the more we see how many other cops were complicit in his abuse.
2) the system ultimately doesn't care about citizens being victimized, which is why it was so easy for him to continue being a cop.
Why isn't this criminal in prison? He needs to be.

Just a few bad apples? When the cop in the video went hands on to the man just trying to bail his friend out, who stopped him? Not only did they not stop them, they piled on. And that's a big issue with law enforcement today. Even when a cop is clearly in the wrong, no cop will ever stop him. When have you ever seen a video of a good cop stopping a bad cop? Never.
