This video shows why Did Germany lose ww2
so Germany was almost unstoppable During the start of war, it easily annexed countries like Czechoslovakia Austria and Poland, and Germany also Defeated France which was one of the strongest countries,
then why did Germany still lose the war,
so Firstly Germany made a huge mistake by Invading the Soviet union, This invasion was a terrible idea because Germany was not ready to face the full military power of Soviet Union,
Secondly, on September 1940 Germany made another big mistake by declaring war on the United states,

Germany was literally forced to attack the USSR in mid-1941, because at that time the transfer of Stalin's line to the new borders was underway, making it much easier to break through the Soviet defense, moreover, the USSR began to modernize the army at an incredible pace.
If Germany had attacked the USSR 1-2 years later, it would not have stopped at Moscow, but at best would have broken through Stalin's new line and would have hit the advanced Soviet army. The resource and industrial potential of the USSR left no chance for Germany in the long run, so they wanted to deal with it as quickly as possible.
@hhabmow anyway there would be a war. no single chance that 2 superpowers with absolutely opposing ideologies will exist next to each other.
mid 1941 was the only chance for germany to win. and they used it.
@Capta1nnz except that even high ranking generals and state documents as well as German scouts and deteriorating diplomacy between Germany and the Soviets have revealed that the Soviets were going to invade Europe.
@Capta1nnz mate, the physical evidence speaks for itself. The ussr was building a gigantic offensive army just on the border. Diplomacy between the 2 had been getting worse. The Soviets made lots of demands that Germany flat out refused. Germany had to consent to the elimination of Finland (it didn't) , Germany was asked If the German guarantee of Romania would protect it against the Soviets (they said yes) the Soviets wanted to place a garrison in Bulgaria to be able to "guarantee" their independence (Germany said no fearing it would just lead to annexation like with the Baltic states). And the Soviets wanted to place bases in the dardanelles which was also refused. Diplomacy was getting very cold. German scouts noted massive amounts of units shifting to the borders, a massive amount of airports being build, tanks etc right on the borders. Germany decided to suprise attack the Soviets to not be the once attacked. The preparations for invasion against the Soviets was so secretive that even the soldiers themselves didn't know what was going on.only high command. AH realised that suprise was the most powerful weapon they had. Germany slowly started moving their own offensive units to the east. The reason why they were so successful initially is because the Soviets didn't expect them to be attacked. None of the troops stationed in the west were dug in. The germans captured millions upon millions of troops in the west, they destroyed/captured about 18 000 tanks . I will look up the exact numbers if you want me to but it was a gigantic offensive army that was gathering in the west. Stalin never expected Germany to have the balls to attack. But to qoute AH if you see someone slowly raising their gun I'm not going to wait for him to pull the trigger. I'm determined to pull the trigger first myself. If he didn't attack the Soviets and the Soviets attacked them it wouldve meant so much more casualties on the German side.

The two main factors why Germany lost the war were that the USA were on the side of the Allies and that they attacked the Soviet Union too late, which is why Hitler got stuck outside Moscow because it was too cold.
Germany: “everything is going as planned”
Winter: “well guess what”
Funny how both Hitler and Napoleon made the same ass mistake.
1. Germany was unable get a foothold on the British Isles to allow a land invasion and the air and naval forces were at a stalemate, so the Axis focused eastward into the likes of Yugoslavia, Greece, and eventually the Soviet Union
2. Germany invaded the Soviet Union which prompted the Soviet Union to join forces with the Allies, and the Soviet Union was able to start pushing the Axis back from the east
3. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor which prompted the US to declare war on Japan and for the Axis to declare war on the US, thus reopening the Western front for Germany and eventually allowing the Allies to start pushing back from the West

I hate how because the Americans were so late to the war, many act like nothing happened before 1942. The invasions of Poland and France and Norway severely damaged the German forces.
Fun facts: more German tanks were destroyed in the invasion of Poland than during Normandy campaign.
More German fighter planes were lost in the battle of France than the battle of Britain.
The German navy lost 50% of its heavy cruisers, 33% of its light cruisers and 50% of its destroyers in a week during the invasion of Norway.

Then, the victories at Coral Sea and Midway which kept the Australians and New Zealand in the war. A Japanese victory could have allowed them to capture Port Moresby, therefore maintaining air and naval superiority. This would have neutralized Australia and New Zealand, as the Japanese plan to separate them from the USA would be successful. This would allow japan to launch much more significant attacks in the Indian Ocean. Possibly reaching Suez Canal and cutting off Indian like they managed to do to Australia and New Zealand.

broken people do some bad things sometimes but it gets made to seem worse they ignore his past society and people can change a person we failed him now be was become something bad
I think some reasons what changed him was that his mother died he got rejected from art school I think and he was VERY angry to see Germany lose ww1 and treated UNFAIRLY by the allies and taking blame for starting ww1 when they didn't
Germany was ready for war against Soviet Union. He just was not ready for Italy to just not do anything, and he was not ready to declare war against winter
Why my great grandfather is taking notes-👴
When you’re at war with 3 superpowers, it’s not gonna go well for you is it
This guy needs a history check. First Hitler used a strategy known as blitz war where he would charge through nation giving no prior warning of their invasion while attacking with their full force. This worked on all the nation that Hitler wanted to conquer in Europe. He started bombing England and set his eyes on Russia which was his mistake. He decided to go during the harshest time of the year in Russia during winter. This caused his army to be servearly weakened and gave the Soviets the advantage and were able to push them back to Berlin. This was also after the Pearl Harbor attack and the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That was the main U.S entered the war. The U.S then launched the largest land invasion known as D-Day. France was given back to France and Germany was sandwiched between America and the Soviets. This is also how they discovered the holocaust. The reason they lost is bc they messed with the two strongest militaries.
The Mexico thing was ww1 bro

Yeah Germany should’ve just focused on UK
But Stalin probably would’ve started war anyway if he saw that the UK was losing or winning
Germany's first mistake was the attempt to invade in Britain
Main reason on why Germany lost during WWII is probably because of the lack of rubber and oil which could be a result of Germany's over militarization since rubber and oil are obviously needed to build their weapons of mass destruction
Germany would have won if Japan hadn't made a non-attack deal with Russia and helped Germany, but no, they had to attack the USA if they hadn't had the USA If Russia had not been attacked, the USA would not have gone to war and Russia would be alone 😅

Bro learnd his history from a cereal box
I agree with the USA but Germany had to declare on the USSR for Oil
Imagine you are at Moscow and the temperature outside is very cold outside, with nothing can keep yourself warm, 1941.
Another 2 reasons:
Germany: where did hitler go?
Japan: hey I didn’t know there was another sun
It wasn’t because of the Soviet army, it was because they were unprepared for the cold winters like napoleon… it was really the weather that struck them hard and made hitler/napoleon lose men and resources and when they dug in for a fight it was a tough one
Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and so U.S joined, japan: Germany guess what, germany:what? Japan: I attacked Pearl Harbor Germany: WHAT?????
Not the only two but kinda right
Got rejected into art school so he decided to paint the map of Europe
My opinion, Hitler lost the war because he sent his troops at North Africa (to get oil in the Middle East) and to Stalingrad (to close Caspian Sea for USSR and cross Caucasus). If he did smth one of these 2, we don't know, but he had more chances. But we have to thank god they didn't think of that so Allies defeated them in Al Alamein and USSR defeated them at Kursk and Stalingrad.
That guy was Smart enough to Half up Poland but he couldn't attack beliguim cuase France pit forts at The border So Germany invaded Belgium
My opinion why did Germany lose:Hitler got cocky not moving panzer supporting the 6th Romanian army in Stalingrad, And declared war on Soviet union in January to Avoid hard winter conditions, Never helped Italy in Greece.*
Also germany priotitized speed rather than power
But the deal breaker was some of it too
Italy was such a burden for axis power.😂😂😂
They're struggle against greece and ask for help.😂
Hitler lose the war because of oil
Not exactly, War with US was inevitable as they were helping the UK unofficially which was affecting its military morale. Russia, well they did make it to Stalingard and wanted Russia to capitalute and use Russias resources and border with Japan to advantage. Most of Russia is concentrated on the East and has no natural barrier. Russia was cruel enough to send people to their death without weapons nor tanks which brought in the winter and the winter killed off the veteran and professional soldiers on Eastern front. That put Germany exposed to a Soviet invasion and its the Soviets who overhwelmed them on land.
This guy learned history at Nick@night school.
Germany was more powerful than ussr and usa,but not combined
Because of Greece too
they knew that they were gonna lose thats why they invaded the soviet union because they wanted to do as much damage as possible
Meine deutschen Landsleute! Parteigenossen!

Three mistakes of Germany:
Retreat forces while invading U.K
Rest 2 shown in this short
The attack on the SU was without alternative.
The SU would have prepared and attacked 6 months to a year later.
The reasons are completely oversimplified here.
It was a little more complicated than that.
World War II[b] or the Second World War (1 September 1939 - 2 September 1945) was a global conflict between two coalitions: the Allies and the Axis powers. Nearly all of the world's countries-including all the great powers-participated, with many investing all available economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities in pursuit of total war, blurring the distinction between military and civilian resources. Tanks and aircraft played major roles, with the latter enabling the strategic bombing of population centres and delivery of the only two nuclear weapons ever used in war. World War II was the deadliest conflict in history, resulting in 70 to 85 million fatalities, more than half of which were civilians. Millions died in genocides, including the Holocaust of European Jews, and by massacres, starvation, and disease. Following the Allied powers' victory, Germany, Austria, Japan, and Korea were occupied, and war crimes tribunals were conducted against German and Japanese leaders.
The causes of World War II included unresolved tensions in the aftermath of World War I and the rises of fascism in Europe and militarism in Japan, and it was preceded by events including the Japanese invasion of Manchuria, Spanish Civil War, outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War, and German annexations of Austria and the Sudetenland. World War II is generally considered to have begun on 1 September 1939, when Nazi Germany, under Adolf Hitler, invaded Poland. The United Kingdom and France declared war on Germany on 3 September. Under their Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, Germany and the Soviet Union had partitioned Poland and marked out "spheres of influence" across Eastern Europe; in 1940, the Soviets annexed the Baltic states and parts of Finland and Romania. After the fall of France in June 1940, the war continued primarily between Germany and the British Empire, with campaigns in North and East Africa and the Balkans, the aerial Battle of Britain and the Blitz of the UK, and the naval Battle of the Atlantic. By mid-1941, through a series of campaigns and treaties, Germany occupied or controlled much of continental Europe and had formed the Axis alliance with Italy, Japan, and other countries. In June 1941, Germany led the European Axis in an invasion of the Soviet Union, opening the Eastern Front.
Japan aimed to dominate East Asia and the Asia-Pacific, and by 1937 was at war with the Republic of China. In December 1941, Japan attacked American and British territories in Southeast Asia and the Central Pacific, including an attack on Pearl Harbor, which resulted in the United States and the United Kingdom declaring war against Japan. The European Axis powers declared war on the US in solidarity. Japan soon conquered much of the western Pacific, but its advances were halted in 1942 after its defeat in the naval Battle of Midway; Germany and Italy were defeated in North Africa and at Stalingrad in the Soviet Union. Key setbacks in 1943-including German defeats on the Eastern Front, the Allied invasions of Sicily and the Italian mainland, and Allied offensives in the Pacific-cost the Axis powers their initiative and forced them into strategic retreat on all fronts. In 1944, the Western Allies invaded German-occupied France at Normandy, while the Soviet Union regained its territorial losses and pushed Germany and its allies westward. In 1944 and 1945, Japan suffered reversals in mainland Asia, while the Allies crippled the Japanese Navy and captured key western Pacific islands. The war in Europe concluded with the liberation of German-occupied territories; the invasion of Germany by the Western Allies and the Soviet Union, culminating in the fall of Berlin to Soviet troops; Hitler's suicide; and the German unconditional surrender on 8 May 1945. Following the refusal of Japan to surrender on the terms of the Potsdam Declaration, the US dropped the first atomic bombs on Hiroshima on 6 August and Nagasaki on 9 August. Faced with imminent invasion of the Japanese archipelago, the possibility of more atomic bombings, and the Soviet declaration of war against Japan and its invasion of Manchuria, Japan announced its unconditional surrender on 15 August and signed a surrender document on 2 September 1945, marking the end of the conflict.
World War II changed the political alignment and social structure of the world, and it set the foundation of international relations for the rest of the 20th century and into the 21st century. The United Nations was established to foster international cooperation and prevent conflicts, with the victorious great powers-China, France, the Soviet Union, the UK, and the US-becoming the permanent members of its security council. The Soviet Union and the United States emerged as rival superpowers, setting the stage for the Cold War. In the wake of European devastation, the influence of its great powers waned, triggering the decolonisation of Africa and Asia. Most countries whose industries had been damaged moved towards economic recovery and expansion.

The germans could not afford to go slower though. Another year of slow operations, let’s say they survive in the east until 1945, they’d lose even if they prevented a D-Day because the allies from the south combined with the gradual loss of oil/petroleum would see the armoured corps be rendered useless

Dad?
Mistakes of Germany.
1 : attacking in winter
2 : not retreating Stalingrad
3 : not sending more soldiers to Moscow
4 : not giving their soldiers winter clothes
5 : declaring war on united stated
I think one mistake was also that after the battle of Smolensk hitler´s generals specifically Guderian suggested him to rush and capture Moscow before the winter came but instead hitler decided that he would rush to capture Ukraine, the thing is that in some kind it was succesful because theyt encricled like 700.000 soviet soldiers in Ukraine but then when they went to Moscow the winter arrived and the rest we know. After that Hitler fired a lot of german generals like Guderian (Which is considered one of the best generals of the world war 2).
They have many gun ammunition ?
Attacking the soviets in the first place. Not focusing on Britain until they surrendered. Allowing withvitaly and opening way to many fronts. Having hitler as a leader in the first place
Stalin had a train ready to leave Moscow if necessary. And most of the industry had already been sent to the Urals at this time so even losing Moscow would just have been a symbolic lose for the Soviets because they had a much stronger army and industry compared to Germany.
Also Germany invaded in summer, the winter wasn’t that important compared to the Soviet counterattack

They declared war because US declared war on Japan for Pearl Harbor, Japan was their ally, so they fought US

German did not have the navy or airforce to get troops on British soil why do you think he went for USSR Britain was not strong on ground but sea and air it was the most powerful country in the world at the time as it’s geographical location an island with worlds most powerful navy it was pretty impossible to invade the uk

USA logic right there 100%

Hahahahahah better get some knowlage about history my brother
7 months late but the ussr is not everything
I like how for both world wars, Germany SOMEHOW, managed to get in a fight between several of the strongest countries
No, not somehow, it was destined to get into conflicts with other Great Powers. Germany was to the British seen as an immense threat, and France had been humiliated by Germany in the Franco - Prussian war of 1871 and lost Alsace-Lorraine, which obviously led them to try and restore their prestige and humiliate Germany by regaining AL. The only other big threat to France and Britain was Russia, and since Germany failed to make them look less of a threat than Russia, they were seen as the bad Guys. And the US was just sympathetic towards Britain and France. (Though there was almost an Alliance between Germany and Britain few years before WW1 which also failed probably because of Willhelm the Kaiser of Germany)
And WW2 is just and Aftermath of WW1,and with Germany already seen as the bad guy, it kinda went like that again. (Short summary, not too exact)
Yes, completely insane. The british Empire, France, USA und USSR were the strongest countries (with Germany) and Germany fought all of them in both Worldwars😅
