We seriously recommend that you pay Birmingham some attention.

It used to be that after a long, hard weekend on the sauce, the only thing that could ease my aching soul was Ridley Scott's early 2000 epic, Gladiator. Now there are two things.
Not quite Gladiator heights but glad we give you comfort 😆
"That's the Bullring right there."
*Points at Grand Central*
Came to the comments section to write this.
Glad it wasn't just me!
In all fairness it links to the bullring
Birmingham is by far the most underrated city in the UK. The second city gets far too much hate by people that have never even been there.
I live right next to it, Manchesters leaps and bounds above it
Manchester is much better. I consider Manchester to be the 2nd city of England.
@@wendywolfman in terms of what? Birmingham is second in population, economy, homes, retail, nightlife. The only thing Manchester wins in is Football and the airport. Most people go off just population which wouldn't even put Manchester in the top 5.
@@webbzz91 Birmingham is not second in night life...
@@OGMehrin it's also second in fine dining. Only behind London for Michelin stars.
'Exceeded expectations', exactly what everyone says after visiting Birmingham! It's the city of hidden gems and if people gave the city a try, they'd find themselves surprised so thanks for giving it a chance!
too many arabs
@@c.f.875 -
I thought there were more South-Asians than Arabs there
@@c.f.875 whats wrong with that?
@@c.f.875 A bit Racist, Bradford was well known for them years ago and Birmingham is no different to any other City in the World.
@@peterwilliamallen1063 You're an aboslute legend, Peter. I was born in Birmingham but grew up all over the world, but that love and connection never die. You've defended its importance and centrality to the UK like a soldier and I commend you! I always find it extremely strange that people keep overlooking the nation's second city. Even in London, there are literally ZERO streets named after Brum or Brum areas whereas every other place around the country (and other countries) gets a mention. I still haven't worked out why that is. Adding to your brilliant list, I'd remind people that The Shire from Lord Of The Rings is based on the green spaces of Birmingham where JRR Tolkien grew up. Birmingham's jewelery quarter is the biggest and most important in Europe as all silver, gold and diamonds would not be recognised unless assayed there. Birmingham is also the only city apart from the capital city to have its own philharmonic and ballet companies---sure signs of cultural significance and vitality. I could list ten more things but I'm sure you know them already. Cheers, Peter. I really enjoyed your informed replies to the rather less informed.
Birmingham gets a bad rap by people who don’t understand the place, I love my city so much
I live in Birmingham and there's a few places you've mentioned that I've not heard of. Will definitely check them out!
👍
I live in Birmingham, the city gets so much hate from people online who haven’t been here before personally I love this city no matter what others say
Birmingham is looked down because its rough and full of crime, drugs a big issue in Birmingham and areas are racist and segregated no integration at all people are backwards .
@@brainsmith3931 in some areas it's fine. I'm from Yardley well south Yardley and even though we have our fair share of chavs and troublemakers, we do get on. I live a on in an area where it's mostly white. I'm a Muslim Pakistani and I've never had an issue with anyone where we live. We all get on. Friendly and kind just as it should be. Then you go to other areas and the atmosphere is ABIT different. But overall the UK ain't that bad. Its pretty tolerant I must say.
@@weshouldsaveourselves6780 Birmingham is very racist and segregated as a city no integration at all people live seperate lives and choose to segregate out of ignorance, people are rude and hostile in Birmingham and west Midlands.
@@brainsmith3931 utter bollocks mate. Funny how there's plenty of accounts out there of how friendly the average Brummie is, and I can attest to it being true coming from here. Yes there are some fucking scrotes, and I've had some major incidents go down in the past, but by and large the majority of us are chill and welcome everybody that have good intentions.
Brummie born and bred. Went to Digbeth for the first time in many years for my sons 26th and it's damn amazing what they've done to it. Very industrial steam punk vibes!!
Y’all should definitely get sponsored by the UK tourism department. Next time I visit London I’m definitely leaving the city to see other cities because of y’all!
ikr they are amazing. Come on Netflix et al., there’s a series right here!
@@serinadelmar6012 how brilliant would they be on NF!!
Birmingham is the best, i have lived in London but i love Brum, put it simply they have the best of everything but also a laid-back lifestyle, and you guys have covered just a very very small % of Brum there's a lot to explore
Birmingham is a shithole only starting to develop never be on London level,Birmingham is a chav racist segregated city.
Thanks for visiting boys! Looks like Birmingham treated you very well 🍺🍷😂
They certainly did 👍
So glad you got Indian Brewery and Medicine on here! This video sums up what EVERYONE should do in Brum 100000%. Oh, and Snobs for a night out.
Big up 0121
IT is such a great City. Vast, green, great universities, barber institute one of the best paintings collections, botanic gardens, fantastic neighbourhoods...
Big up my fellow brummies 👍🏽
They deserve a Netflix series
I had a lads weekend away to Birmingham recently. Our friend group rule is that the 'host' makes all the plans. I've just realised that he has obviously watched your video here and we basically went to 3/4 of the places. Amazing recommendations.
Finally Birmingham!
I never trust anyone till I see them three sails to the wind, boys your the best.
Definitely, me too but isn’t it three sheets?
Your energy and spirit are just amazing! Another joyful video. Thanks for that!
Thanks Özlem
Medicine have opened in the mailbox now and it's like a fancy version of the one u went to if anyone wants to check it out. Well worth it.
You need to experience Birmingham during the christmas markets
How are you not the ‘size of a house’ …..said green with envy !! …….😜 ….👏👏👏
So much fun. Thank you guys ❤😁💪🔥🎉

Always a fan of how you curate your videos!! 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you Lance
You guys deserve so much more subs. Always class videos. Keep it up!
Thanks Viktor
Come on the boys. Been waiting for you to head to brum. You've picked up on some absoloute gems mate especially rude boy Andy Low and Slow. You could easily fit in another trip covering the outskirts of brum which contain some more gems especially Carter's in Moseley. My favourite channel for advice on places to eat when I visit different parts of the UK. Amazing production and presenters. Bang on.
Thanks Daniel
you guys deserve more subscribers, content quality and production is fantastic. keep up the good work, its always a good day when there is a new TJ vid.

Nailed it! Again!❤️
Gotta love these boys on the beersies hahah cant wait to travel back to Europe and more of the UK in the near future 👌🏼
Excellent thanks. As result of this I went to the bakery and The Stag today. Highly recommend :)
I was in brum for a decade and obviously knew most of these, but you found some gems. Used to live near simpsons and thought it was a hotel, didn’t know there was a restaurant there! Also hockley social club sounds like something horrid with cheese rolls and a pint of mild…but who would have known old hockley would get gentrified lol
Love your description of a social club 😆 but yes it’s surprising what great places you can find right under your nose.
You guys drunk are a complete mood!!! Loved this epi. :D Cheers!
🤪
Always a pleasure to watchz your videos guys
YES Birmingham!! ❤️ love that you posh young boys love my home town.
wish i could get out of it mate.
@@StuWright What's stopping you mate, Birmingham is a great City and will be even better next year with the Common Wealth Games coming.
As someone who has lived in birmingham all my life I have never actually been to a lot of those places. Some of them I didn’t even know about. I can definitely say that Gaijin is really good. There used to be a sushi place in the Birmingham Indoor Market called Otoro Sushi, which was also very good.
Grand central kitchen which is right next to York's also sells some delicious food and it tends to be way more packed tbh
Jesse commentary and Will videography make food more delicious.....🌟
another top video love this!
Do an episode on the Lake District! :) Love your vids they make me miss the UK.
Thanks for this-fed up of people slating Birmingham! Great city!
Awesome trip guys!
My hometown and my favourite food channel combined 😍
Have we shown you some places you didn’t know of?
@@topjaw Yes, which was a nice surprise! I’ll definitely be going to them when I head back.
I’m glad that you featured York’s! Definitely a Birmingham staple.
Can't be Birmingham, didn't see any roadworks
YESSS finally!! 🙌🏽
Hope you enjoyed it Leah!
@@topjaw you never disappoint!
Great video of Brum I’m born and bred here this is an amazing city and it’s on the up with Commonwealth Games and HS2. You guys went to a few places I’ve not visited definitely going to try them. I love London to recently been to Liverpool great energy there to. Your video was cool will definitely watch more of you guys! Hope the heads weren’t to bad 🤣 🍻
Hi Jane I'm also from Birmingham. Just wondering where do you mostly go out to eat? Its a bit random but i just never thought to ask people where they go to eat lol 😂
Well trolleyed! Nice one lads.
Yay is that duke street market!! Finally in Liverpool 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Awesome video as always, dudes! I get so damn jealous and inspired, not to mention hungry and thirsty as f! Could you please put subtitles on Jess when he starts heading into drunk town? Thanks😂. Keep on rocking!!
Your videos are always fire🔥🔥
Top video! Made me laugh the more drunk you got 🤣
As manc look forward to a Liverpool top jaw love Liverpool's food and craft beer scene .and Birmingham now on my food bucket list Guy .

Love you too Bailey 😍
Should’ve come to bordlsey green mate
Please visit Liverpool...that's where my family is from and I would love to see your recommendations
What I love about you two is you love getting high as much as you enjoy food.
I also must ask - how does Will keep his hands so steady while shooting? I am sure no camera has such good image stabilization.
Yet another fun video. Thanks for sharing this.
Come to Aarhus in Denmark ... totally cool and happening and the food scene is really hitting
Lovely food 👌🏻 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a wonderful day everyone 🌻
Nice one Dr Bruno 🙏🏻
you too sir! ♥️
Amazing content, you lot are underrated.
You've done this city proud. With some of the best hospitality venues in the country, there's so much to celebrate.
I live in Birmingham and it does go so underrated! The history here is so amazing to know and some of the buildings are by far amazing, especially digbeth! Best place to go on a night out 😍 also I couldn't stop laughing when he pointed at the grand central and went "you've got the bullring over there" 😂😭
Birmingham is the city that is forgotten about and left behind the council of Birmingham are the cause of why it's a disaster as they have cut and created austerity and poverty and crime is out of control.
Wow 🤩 please do 48 Hours Birmingham 🤞✅
Love this channel, but I want to know how you get through all that food in a day! I wish I could and still look trim!
Can’t be long for a Nottingham episode surely?
Awesome lip snacking video! What brand is your jacket BTW?
Man y'all deserve a million subs
👍
Ooh I definitely need to check out medicine 🥰
I love all your Food travel city videos! :)
👍
Wow so cool. Very nice👌👌. One of the best channels on RUclips. I like to see Vancouver episode one day😊❤️

Wish I'd seen this video before I went to Birmingham for the cricket a couple of years ago. Genuinely struggled to find decent eateries
Perhaps it's time to plan another trip then!?
Love food in London
You guys should really do a 48 hours in Budapest!! That place is gonna blow your minds!
Next time visit Eis Cafe! The absolute best desert shop in the world. Pistachio or Chocolate Baklava are out of this world. As too are their ice creams, waffles, loci shakes & pazookies! Also visit La Pop! The best ice cream lollies ever!!!
Topjaw in Toronto this fall !!
Love from Mauritius 🇲🇺
Try Mauritian cuisine .
😃
Alright topjaw it's time, get to New York!
10:28 I thought Jesse spilled some sauce on his sweatshirt but I realised that it was just a small logo print on it lol
🤣
I'm a Brummy it's just as good as anywhere else, the only problem is like any other major city its a dumping ground!!!!!
How is Will finding the Blackmagic Pocket cinema camera 4K considering its Battery life when being used
Merrymaids Balsall Heath great place for food and the vibe is second to none.
Fox and chance best Irish coffee in the UK
Attic Brewery, Early bird bakery (get the Turkish eggs), Couch and Passing fancies are all must sees if you do another video here.
Can someone call Netflix, it's an emergency ! :)
