  • Princess Jeongseon (1385~1460) was the daughter of King Taejong Lee Bangwon, the third king of the Joseon Dynasty, and Queen Wongyeong, and was as the eldest daughter among 4 sons and 4 daughters in 1385 (11th year of King U's reign), before Joseon was founded.
    As the first child of King Taejong, she married Lee Baekgang, the son of Lee Geoyi and the Inspector General of the Constitutional Court, in 1399 (1st year of Jeongjong's reign) before Taejong ascended the throne, and when he did ascend the throne she became Princess Jeongsun and Lee Baekgang became Soongjung Daebu.
    At the beginning of her marriage, Princess Jeongseon suffers a lot when her husband's family gets involved in treason, but fortunately, they soon get reinstated.
