I am the sunshine and you are the moon We live under different skies But if the sun could open his heart to the moon I'm sure he would say Moon, should I try to hide The way I feel inside ? Moon, oh would you be mine If I could melt your heart? You teach me to read between the lines You make my heart feel stronger Sadness and fear maybe waiting ahead Forever I know we'll be friends Ooh ooh, should I try to hide The way I feel inside? Ooh ooh, oh would you be mine if I could melt your heart? Moon, should I try to hide The way I feel inside? Moon, oh would you be mine If I could melt your heart? Moon, should I try to hide The way I feel inside ? Moon, oh would you be mine If I could melt your heart?
@TheArwen1900 Thank you so much for uploading this! I've been looking for this song because it appears, as someone has commented, in "The secret world of Arrietty" (main menu of the DVD) It's just beautiful :)
Lucy Aquari Same here, and I've been looking for it like crazy, but I couldn't find it anywhere. And now I'm so glad I found it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too bad this songs source was not credited in its creation as far as i know of. It's constantly being taken down because of the concerns. If it was credited it wouldn't be weird but unfortunately taken from a less popular source and culture. Link to original for those curious. It's still a nice rendition but pretty glaring. It is a Tajik song with famous renditions in persian and Turkish respectively. Original rendition linked: ruclips.net/video/ed-ggaD16AU/видео.html
@@mizumi8095 thanks so much for caring! I honestly wasn't sure anyone would care but it felt unfortunate that no where was the original cited and it happens a lot to music from that side of the world.
@@ershadshirazi I can understand your concern... and thank you again, I haven't been able to learn much about the song, this information has been light for me...🌸🌟
@@theotheseaeagle that's the atmosphere they were going for. But many of the originals never get credited or cited unfortunately and are from countries you wouldn't expect like middle eastern places. It's like taking those pieces and flipping the instruments you know?
It's cause it was taken and went uncredited. The origin is actually Tajikistan as far as i can tell. This is the oldest i can find: ruclips.net/video/ed-ggaD16AU/видео.html There's also the Turkish version you're referring to. And a persian version as well by nooshafarin.
If anyone has seen the North American DVD version, does anyone know where I can find that version of this song? It plays in the very beginning, y'know, when you can select "Play" or "Language Options" or "Select Scenes." That beginning montage. A certain version of Sho's Song plays then and it sounds absolutely wonderful. Is there any way to get that version or is it only the DVD?
this might be a little late, but I know the one youre talking about, at the menu. I just found and finished downloading it on iTunes. If you have an account look for it in the Arrietty album. Sho's Song (instrumental version)
This is one of the most incredible song that I've could hear.
I am the sunshine and you are the moon
We live under different skies
But if the sun could open his heart to the moon
I'm sure he would say
Moon, should I try to hide
The way I feel inside ?
Moon, oh would you be mine
If I could melt your heart?
You teach me to read between the lines
You make my heart feel stronger
Sadness and fear maybe waiting ahead
Forever I know we'll be friends
Ooh ooh, should I try to hide
The way I feel inside?
Ooh ooh, oh would you be mine
if I could melt your heart?
Moon, should I try to hide
The way I feel inside?
Moon, oh would you be mine
If I could melt your heart?
Moon, should I try to hide
The way I feel inside ?
Moon, oh would you be mine
If I could melt your heart?
Beautiful, but this is the only video left where the audio hasn't been copyrighted :( even the instrumentals have been copyrighted.
@@nubiae.f.p7336 you can find both the instrumental song and the one with vocals on soundcloud
soundcloud.com/lostchick/sets/studio-ghibli check out in soundcloud - someone manage to upload it there.

I thought all the music in Arrietty was Celtic

This song like Shahsenem's song "Nar Tanem"

Faerie Queen.
Is it just me, but does it seem a bit like the ending song from Naruto called "Wind"? Yeah, it's weird of me to think that but that's just me :)
i wanna find shos song someplace..
after some quick search i found it ok spotify, if that helps.
😘
What's the name of that instrument she plays?
Celtic Harp
It's not Where have you been, It's "Sho's Song" :)
great concert, I was here too...
who owns the music of this song?
Cécile Corbel the singer I think
Does Cécile speak English? I know she sings songs in English but sometimes singers memorize songs in languages they don't speak fluently.
I envy you for being able to be there D:
very. very. nice
@TheArwen1900 Yes it's a beautiful song! But all her songs are wonderful
Belge et t as pu la voir quelle chance j aimerais beaucoup l entendre chanter en live
