This video features the Black Rock Shooter collab (Blazing Simulacrum) in Punishing: Gray Raven. Alpha in her new BRS-themed coating faces off against the boss of this chapter, Dead Master. She is deceptively tough and extremely difficult to beat without taking enough damage to make the screen flash red -- let alone without any UI elements on. Luckily, we found the right guy for the job.

There are not a lot of these kinds of things in this game, but I will always love the Kingdom Hearts style of an insane number of healthbars for bosses in PGR. It's always so much more satisfying to tear through 1000 pieces of paper with a sword than it is to chip away at a single brick with a spoon, if you guys know what I mean. And ANOTHER Kingdom Hearts reference I liked to see here, was just having the boss throw a building at you, and then you just parry it. Loved that in the final fight of KH2.
That building throw made me think of metal gear rising revengeance.

I only learned about BRS recently because of the PGR collab, but i must say, Dead Master is one hell of a charismatic character. Especially at 1:23

Lately I've been playing through Stronghold, and I came across boss - Alpha that is immune to Matrix
And it feels like I'm really fighting Alpha at her full power there ngl
For this gameplay, Rexlent is definitely human no more
FYI, its not only "perfect no damage" run that need countless attempt. Highscore showcase video on PPC and War Zone also need so much retry to find the right ORB to appear. Its RNG afterall.
Someone needs to do boss guides for all of PGR's bosses

Man I feel like I missed the boat getting into this game, trying to get back into it now is so overwhelming. Hard to know where to even start and I log out quickly after getting on.
All these Black Rock Shooter videos makes me want to see a battle cats crossover.
There are so many possibilities for good bosses: Luza, Naala, The Crazed/Maniacs, Urs(With Rexlent her bulli shall continue)
What I am most excited are the heavenly tower trio(Hermit, Yulala and Uril) to be added. They were a menace on release. Now all of them can be cheesed. And Hermit and Yulala are powercreeped to hell. Its nice seeing them a threat again.
Imagine the units. Courier and Bahamut shredding everything. And my waifu Summerluga can be added.

Edit: playing on global, i see the boss is really, REALLY hard, i just imagine doing that with A rank character from the beginning of the game and that suddently feel goofy and totally impossible to do…

I don’t think so since the boss from the nier collaboration event is still around in the game 😅
You can expect collab boss in babel. Norman war. There is other but im not 100% sure. Like ppc

For some reason the CN PC port EXCLUSIVELY has an option to disable all UI. Every day I dream of this feature coming to Global's PC port (or better yet, every single version of the game).
