  • Tying hard-neck garlic is a fun and beautiful way to store Garlic. Hang it on your wall, and when you need fresh garlic simply cut off a bulb. Hard-neck garlic can last 6 months or more hanging in your kitchen!
An added benefit is that you can tie some herbs into your bunch and dry them both with an added decorative touch!
Garlic has to be one of the most important foods you can easily grow for all its nutritional and medicinal benefits. So much so that I recommend it for all gardeners, especially those who want to live on what they grow! Rosemary Gladstar says if she had only one herb she could plant for culinary and medicinal use, it would be garlic.

If you're looking to get into microscopy to analyze your soil life, consider this one that I bought which was recommended to me by Matt Powers. You get to see the beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes, as well as all the bad guys so you can make adjustments to your compost to correct them. There's lots of support online to help you interpret what you're seeing. This really is a great price for the quality of the microscope you're getting: amzn.to/3EmjVDj
