- New Orleans pastors gathered Tuesday to voice support for NOPD Supt. Anne Kirkpatrick following the tragic Bourbon St. attack on New Year's Day.
In my opinion, no one questioned her as an officer, but seeing her party on Canal Street the day after the incident, smiling and having fun, was disturbing. She isn't the only one at fault, though. Others were responsible for letting the football game continue just 24 hours later, which disrespected the victims of the brutal attack. The fact that blood and brain matter were washed away for the sake of a football game the next day is appalling. At that moment, it was all about the money, not the victims.
I totally understand your well thought out and heartfelt expressed sentiments. She is a lady who has a very tough job to do, and a part of her responsibility is to restore order as soon as possible whenever chaos occurs. The march at Bourbon began with prayer and a tribute to the victims. During the entire march, prayers for protection, peace, comfort, healing, and restoration were going forth. It was a very somber and tear filled moment. Music is an intricate part of New Orleans culture and usually accompanies our funeral processions. In no way was anyone on that day minimizing nor disrespecting those who either lost their lives, those who were injured, or their families. It's just a way of life here. That said, I fully understand your point and pray that you know that our chief's heart broke when this occurred, and she and our entire city are still grieving with the families of all the victims.
@@CrossingJordanChristianFellowsShe’s also a member of my church. 🙏🏾

BEAUTIFUL. PRAYING FOR YOU.
She needs to resign!! She ruined Oakland California, she ruined Spokane Wa and now she’s ruined NOLA!!!!!
What! No way that’s crazy I never knew that till now. I lived in New Orleans my whole childhood and moved back to the Spokane wa at the age of 15 years old. I honestly thought she looked familiar
@@krista.matthewsI know that she mistakenly ran into 2 pedestrians but without any damage and she was charged with reckless endangerment I believe. That happened in Oakland
Will you step up and take her place?
@ nope you can
The gray mushroom has got to go.
I'm born and still live in New Orleans. Ever since this lady been in office, the crimes that she claim would cease escalate worst than ever. She rather stop crime when Taylor Swift come to town or the sugarbowl all of a sudden protection is overwhelming. She not from our city and she is not fit to be over police department not the safety of our people and visitors. He doesn't speak for me. Resign your position Kirkpatrick and get out of our home. Quick you are not needed no longer. You failed your department on a world stage and endangered the people. Goodbye.
Brave lady. You are a hero, my sister in Christ. We need more people who have strong faith in our Creator. God is always good, and He helps us going through difficult situations!
Amen to that. 🙏🏾
Take some type of accountability. You are just constantly defending yourself.
PLEASE. RESIGN... NOW...
Every city should have a gramma as chief of police
By...Get Out .. Please Resign...
Resign? Absolutely not! She has been a great chief of police.
The police chief admitted she had no idea what her arsenal was as far as tools to prevent driving attacks. Then was like “ we put the archers out so all is good”
She needs to be replaced, how did she not research all of her options for safety measures BEFORE the sugar bowl weekend?
🤮🤮
😯😐
It's funny what people get all this grace.
you look somthing like the terror man
I said the same thing I had to really look
Dude you better hush before you’ll loose your job.
