I gotta say, this is one of the best AMVs I have ever seen. Please keep them coming! This is my favorite song from the Evangelion soundtrack, and from one Eva fan to another, I truly appreciate the care you took in making this. I think that Evangelion is one of the most powerful and deep things to come out of pop-culture, anime or otherwise. What you have done is kept the integrity and themes of the series, and framed them in a different way that speaks powerfully to what the series is as a whole, where the visuals and lyrics work together to expound upon the theological themes of the show. I guess what I am trying to say is well done, and I am very excited for more of these.

I'll never forget the first time I saw the EVA go berserk. I was hooked. I started teaching myself CGI modeling and animation 6 months ago using Blender 2.8. I just Uploaded my my first amateur home made Neon Genesis CGI animation to my channel. Putting these scenes together like this, made me realise we have no idea how long final impact from EoE took. In was long enough for Red Eva's to march across the planet, Misato's cross to look rusted, the giant rei to turn into lcl, etc. What I'm saying if you look at Eva3.0 in the context of End of Evangelion, it could very well be taking place DURING final impact, it just takes a VERY LONG time. Even that anime expo short supports it, like showing the ejection plug all red and rusted like it's been there forever, but Shinji is still walking around an empty world while the Red Evas make Eva pyramid and all the red is getting sucked up to the white moon.
Are you talking about the Until You Come to Me short? We still don't know if the rebuild series is the continuation of the anime series and EoE. It is not safe to make any assumptions especially when we have so little to work on.

Steppen Wolf 2018 Nah I did some digging about the red blood trail on the moon in the Rebuild series, it is said that thats the blood(or LCL) of the human died in the Second Impact being spilled onto the moon.

Julian Skilton basically the human spirit tamed inside a machine. Eva 01 is shinji's mother sealed in a giant mech, that is why when he loses control the eva goes berserk and "wakes up". The mechs capabilities depend on the relationship with the pilot. Asukas mech is her mother as well, which is why she can fight against all those angels in the end. She realizes her love for her mother is stronger than her resentment for bering abandoned so she conects more with the eva, allowing her to fight beyond her capabilities. Truly cruel when you think about it.

The mechs capabilities depend on the relationship with the pilot. Asukas mech is her mother as well, which is why she can fight against all those angels in the end. She realizes her love for her mother is stronger than her resentment for bering abandoned so she conects more with the eva, allowing her to fight beyond her capabilities. Truly cruel when you think about it.
@@bdlblob You know they are not mechs, they are big humanoid organisms cloned from Adam and Lilith with human soul trapped inside its core controlling it. The pilots are basically children back in their mothers' wombs. The only real mystery is what or who is inside Eva-00.
