WTF? I had no idea they did it this way for women athletes. If the couple grams of fabric in a bathing suit is too much then you didn't make the weight class. I bet a year or so from now we will look back at this and shake our heads that it was even happening. There are literally tens of thousands of females willing to be photographed fully nude online. It obviously needs to be also witnessed by official(s) of the sanctioning body and I suppose other interested third parties (like maybe the mob who have gambling interests on the line) need to be assured there's no cheating the weight. I don't know when it turned into a camera spectator sport though. They used to have a kind of pose down fake face-off event for promotion photos of a fight where the cameras were everywhere. IMO this is more of a medical check-in event like doing a urine sample after an Olympic race - not meant to be a photo-op.
