This guy favors an 80s Phil Collins. Great sounding verb!

One does not just casually name drop The Beatles.

Right? Spiritualized and Ed Sheeran have never been in a sentence with The Beatles until now. Weird. Also, if you are responsible for the remasters, sir, we need to chat.

Guy Massey mixed the “Let It Be...Naked” version of the Let It Be album (with Paul McCartney supervising the project), and was also part of the Beatles remastering team.

man when people keep talking about "glueing" the mix together i keep thinking about it in a literal sense and not in that metaphorical sense in which everything is leveled, dialed, and adjusted properly.

"It all depends on what a track needs" and that's the point of pretty much everything

I totally respect your work but your vocals on this video leave me wanting. The quantity of sibilants and the need for some compression is glaring. Can you give me your thoughts on this?

The settings he dialed in sound very unnatural and obvious to me.

Yeah, but it works with the song. There's a lot of ways to do fx, from subtle to "in your face". There's a time and place for everything.

produced forThe Beatles.. Ed Sheeran... that dosen't mean you are good... maybe the music from those artist would have sounded even better if another had produced it ? I just mean these artists are good... i'm pretty sure most professional producers could have made a good mix when having artist like these....
