  • In this clip i show how efficient the gong cruzader 7´6" works in marginal Low Wind Conditions. WIng Gong Superpower V2 7,5m2, Foil Sabfoil 1750 & 1550, 83P Mast, 703K Fuse, 483S Stabilizer
    Basically the training for Paddle-Start paid off so i can now drive the board efficiently to takeoffspeed while pumping with the wing
    A Few notes to the gear- i owned the XXXL Sirus but with the Carbon V2 85cm it was not controllable during pumping, with the wing i was able to use it and it had a very good glide with the narrow and slim shape, but 186cm is 11 cm more than the sabfoil and i decided not to upgrade to the stiffer HM-Mast because the 1750 has a profile that takes off earlier

    Thank you for sharing, finally a real persons experience. (other videos are just 60-70kg persons showing their low wind foiling)

      This was exactly my intention..so everybody in less perfect conditions is enabled to have fun :)

      108kg, so maybe iam the heaviest rider that can get on foil by paddle :-)

    Great video, thanks. That setup seems to work really well in light winds.

    Hallo LX T, tolles Video.

    Encouraging video, thank you! Any problems with your 703 Fuselage durning a flat water paddle start with the 1750?
    Gong requires a titanium fuse with their HA wings and I’ve seen videos of fuselages breaking with the HA front wings. I also want to learn flat water starts and ultra light wind winging with SAB’s Lev. 1550 or maybe even the 1750. For budget reasons I want to get the Axis 75mm Mast with SAB adapter.
    My current winging setup :
    Gong 7’11’ inflatable crusader hype
    1350 Leviathan
    SAB 83 Mast (not the new super stiff one)
    Stab 380
    Fuse 753
    I’m 86.2 Kg. 190 pounds.
    Should I be worried about the SAB 753 fuselage breaking?

    Nice video!! thanks! And I weight also 108kg XDD what a coincidence!
    Did you try also the inflatable cruzader? I want to try sup foil also, but the foils which are you using are quite expensive, is there an affordable option for light wind and sup foil?

    • @lxt1714
      @lxt1714  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi have not tried inflatable cruzader but the shape should also work in a bit less stiff inflatable version..low wind foiling works best with foil that can be dockstarted and size lift can handle your weight at takeoff speed...paddle start is another level with extreme sizes of foils, low ar foil have less glide but also work well if you do not need paddle start capability look at old curve xxl this was my lowwindkillersetup before i tried sirius and levithan...njoy lxt

    insane😱😱😱😱😱maybe you can answer me, I weigh 75 kg at the moment I use an 8 CWC f-one I fly with 8-9 and a FLUID XXL-T without too many problems, now, if I take a 130 LT crusader I can fly with 6-7 knots holding the same front? or do I have to take big front like a Sirus? thank you

      I use similar setup in gusty conditions when i want to ride smaller foils and wings and do not want to exhaust due to many starts, with cruzader sheet in and fly...-2/3kts on standard setup so yes this will work

    Super! thanks for the video. For a heavy rider (95kg, 190cm) and light wind conditions just like in the second half of the video, which setup would you suggest? I was thinking to go with a cruzader 7.6XL but not sure about the wing and the foil. Thanks! Fantastic video btw!

    • @lxt1714
      @lxt1714  Год назад

      7.6XL should be a bit easier to stand on than my 7.6...recommend hi ar foil for glide and pumpability, but i do not like above 175...for you something like the 1550 should fit combined with 7m and you are the limit .-)

    Interesting, thanks! What size and type of wing do you use for these conditions? (My cruzader 7XL runs fast with every pump, suelr experience! but manuvers are more difficult due to the size: nothing for waves or >15 knots)

    Hi!! Great video!! Just a question, is possibile to use the sabfoil foil on gong board with the t-nut M8? Or just M6?

    • @lxt1714
      @lxt1714  Год назад +2

      i only use 8mm screws on the foil mount and also drilled my v2 carbon mast to 8mm so yes

    dicker respekt!! setup wirklich komplett auf Leichtwind getrimmt. macht der cruzader spaß oder ist das eher nur mittel zum zweck?

    • @lxt1714
      @lxt1714  Год назад +1

      Cruzader leichtwindsetup ist nicht mint starkwindsetup, ich bin das mint erstaunlich wenig gefahren seit ich den cruzader habe da man dann nur die echten mittel/starkwindtage damit fährt und leicht/mittelwindtage mit dem effizienten setup angeht und die flugzeit vervielfacht...ist wie beim twintip vs surfboard am kite oder slalom vs waveboard beim windsurfen

    If I understand well, the Sirus is only good to go straight, not for turns. But now Gong have the Curve H 5XXL , which looks more turn oriented. (I hope at least)Because I don’t want to change all again. Thanks

    • @lxt1714
      @lxt1714  Год назад +1

      Hi, Sirus is fast efficient but needs a bit more speed- and also the stiffer mast...i use the mast also for kitefoiling so i decided for sabfoil because it is also lighter- for winging gong stuff is safer because it does not swim up with certain frontwings as the sabfoil does for example with 873..

    Moin, mir ist aufgefallen dass du beim anpumpen ganze vorne auf dem Pad stehst und dann beim fliegen nach hinten wanderst. Passt das Sabfoil nicht so gut zum Cruzader? Hatte das selbe Problem als ich ein Gong Zuma mit F ONE Phantom gefahren bin. Grüße nach Österreich.

      Hi, habe das foil beim wingen in der mitte montiert, für no wing start würde man es etwas weiter hinten montieren, sehe da kein Problem hätte auf der schiene in beide Richtungen platz, wingen ist nicht gleich paddelstart, der wind ist hier aber so gering das es eher paddelstartbedingungen sind...
