    Less government, not more, less regulation, not more, less taxation without representation, not more.

    IMO; We need a new political system that represents the people's intrests ahead of the politicians (corporations).

      Thank you Dr. Jensen. The cdc released the requested FOIA documents on myocarditis and all 148 pages were completely redacted.

    Republicans respect the right of individuals to personal privacy and ownership of private property.
    Private Property!
    Individual Rights!
    BINGO!

    I don't know about both parties thriving in Minnesota this one's been here since the Mayflower. Look what they've done to our state.
    Look what happens when we get the majority in the house in Washington Even though it's slim they fail to use the power they have, they would rather roll over and do what the Democrats want.
    For those of us who sent people to Washington to do the right thing for Minnesota and for the nation it very seldom flies.
    We have the second speaker that needs to be removed no guts a rhino pathetic. Far as I'm concerned Democrats are always wrong but they are in lockstep to get their bills passed and then they bully the hell out of the Republicans to climb aboard.

    How many of you who responded positively to Dr Jensen’s one page platform actually read the current platform? Or even his one pager?
    When I read the current version at our republican caucus in February I was very impressed with the well thought out positions. The wording makes clear our beliefs on the law in terms that are unmistakable. It is a fools errand to think that the broad language in Dr Jensens one page would not be interpreted in ways we did not want.
    Like “Republicans support the ‘rule of law,’ authority of peacekeepers,”
    So if the United Nations sent Chinese soldiers or Russian soldiers as peacekeepers to quell unrest in MN we should automatically obey them?
    Rather than simplify this current document, we should amend it by adding that elections should be on one day and by legal paper ballots that should all be counted with the legitimate legal absentee ballots on Election Day. We need to secure our elections not make the tools we already have weaker.

    Seems to me that the issue is the lacking of any American values in the political parties.
    I wonder how that could’ve happened?

    Dr Jensen
    You write this: “ A big reason why is because our platform is outdated, unrelatable, and too confusing for most Minnesotans. I have some ideas.”
    Please explain what in the current platform you say are outdated, unrelatable and too confusing?
    I am calling you out on this issue as you owe it to us to explain this position you have given as reason for your short version.

    irrelevant? Perhaps the problem is, that the popular culture is moving away from our basic , fundamental, common sense ideals? I just HOPE, Dr Jensen, that YOU are NOT!

    There is a process to amend the platform. It started at the caucus. Did you submit your recommendation to amend?

      Yes!!!!!! The cacus is important! Can’t throw it out. We had a lot we wanted added in our platform through resolutions. If people want changes, they need to get off you tube and go to their cacuses. Become delegates and actually learn the process

    You can’t just ditch the platform.
    We have resolutions made at caucuses and they are passed. If people care, start with people learning the importance of cacus.
    I like to know what each party stands for.
    So we need a platform and not it skimmed down because that leads to too much compromise and we would get candidates who aren’t even truly conservatives if we cut a bunch of it out.

    Not judging Dr. Jensen's proposals or anyone else's commentary, but just providing some perspective. There were 5 people at the precinct caucus I attended, representing over 5,000 residents (0.1%), which is larger than the actual state convention which is 2,200 delegates representing 4.2M voters or 0.06% of voters. Does the Republican party want an exact detailed representation of the 0.06% of primarily hard right voters, or does there need to be some revision to attract less hard right people to the party?

    • @feath7457
      @feath7457 7 месяцев назад

      Why would we want to change to attract?! If so called Republicans care, they need to get off RUclips and go Cacus. I did. And I’m a delegate now. Also, we want resolutions added to keep the party conservative. If someone is conservative/moderate, it would make sense to join the Libertarian Party. There weren’t many at my Caucus either sadly because the dems voted to have our Straw polls turned into a presidential primary which SUCKS!!! I was an election judge for that. So basically, you are registered with a party when you voted! The county and the state have that info.

    • @feath7457
      @feath7457 7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! So please cacus and be part of the endorsing process. It’s how we can make decisions. Too many do nothing until Election Day. There is a way to keep the rhinos off the ballot, but we need more people who aren’t rhinos who get involved before Election Day.

    • @feath7457
      @feath7457 7 месяцев назад

      You can by becoming a delegate and involved in the endorsing of candidates by vote.
