I don't know why I only thought of this now, however I saw your throttles are in the middle instead of the Prop handles. All the training I've seen/done shows the props in the middle with memory aids to make sure you decrease and increase power in the correct order so you don't over stress or damage the engines. I guess as you've been flying this plane for so long you've gotten used to it. But I be interest to know what memory aid you used if you remember when you getting used, to make sure you went mixture, props, throttle for increase and throttle, props, mixture for decrease.
The difference between what I'm familiar with this, would throw me off to no end lol.

The real answer with most aircraft is just that they are different.

The throttle and prop levers have different shapes. So transitioning from plane to plane is easier than you would think.

This made a TON more sense after reading the comments section. I'm guessing this is your son? That's awesome! I've recently started teaching my son how to fly. But not in a high performance twin 🤣 One of the hardest things to do is to teach your kids. Him being a student pilot, if he hasn't flown with you a lot in this plane, it's like drinking from a fire hose. I thought this was going to be a comparison of a Twin Cessna vs Baron 🤣🤣 Now it makes complete sense why he was hanging on to the tail at first!

Barons are complicated, but after training, I'd say the Baron is easier to fly. I'm going to watch your video now.

I remember my dad taking me out into the woods to learn how to drive a car (in our case, a truck). It was nerve-wracking, so I can only imagine how this experience might have been playing out in the back of Kris Jr's mind. Great job to both of you...

It's so awesome to see Kris jr. now taking an interest in aviation too! You do such an amazing job explaining what's going on so others can understand. As always thanks for bringing us along with you guys and blue skies. If not just fly IFR🤷🏻‍♂️😆

Just finished watch Stevie Treisenberg’s (Bayflight) new Cessna 140A video and the next video popping up and auto playing was this Baron Pilot video. At first I said, “wait. It this a new one? I just checked his page minutes ago…” 😅

@@clarencewiles963 You are 100% correct. I love how BaronPilot is constantly explaining everything he's doing. When I was learning I loved it when my instructor was doing the same. Not too fast and not to slow. When I got my CFI I tried to follow the same procedure. It works.

I'm going to say that flying a Baron on one engine would be harder than flying a Cessna 1xx on one engine. 😉
Then again, probably easier to fly a Baron with one engine out than flying a Cessna 1xx with its one engine out. 😯

I am not a pilot and only flown them both as a discovery flight in the 172 and with a friend in the Baron. The Baron was like a sports car and the 172 was like a sloppy steering car.

Depends on which model. Cessna C340 is easier than Barron, because so much of the throttle control is automated. Anything is easier to fly than C172 !
