I ultimately graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, but four of the best teachers I had during my entire time in school were at a community college.
Community colleges are a treasure for giving talented professionals a platform to teach.

The English Civil War was a defining moment for Milton.
    It was the road taken
    He never looked back.

What about "Beowulf" isn't it the first Pagan poem that was probably christianized ?

Satan is the hero, then he shrinks. He gets less and less heroic as the poem goes on, until he is just contemptible and literally a hissing snake

Please watch the video to the end. Otherwise you may think as I did at the middle: (This guy misinterprets Milton's stance to Satan which is clearly expressed about the same place where 'his most admired Satan's speech' is taken from. So, the West has such teachers now? You deserve what you're getting into, poor blind people.) But then it turned to be a rhetoric guile revealed later. Good teaching, great hope.

Satan is pretty delusional to rebel against someone that is Omnipotent.
