Leo Brouwer (b. 1939) - Fuga no. 1 (1957)
This punchy piece began a Recital I presented on April 30th, 2017 at 5:30 pm. At the start of the video, you can read the program notes, and during the video I added some pictures of the composer, and of myself playing in the beautiful hall during the concert and the night before. Recorded live by the university in Jessen Auditorium, this recital was given in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Music.
