I know that Hoffenheim trade came through, but wouldn’t it have made sense to lay the draw instead of backing Hoffenheim since they would have needed to score anyway for the trade to have profitable, but you would have also covered yourself if Hertha Berlin had scored a late goal, maybe on the counter attack. It was late in the game so of Hertha Berlin had scored, you would have still increased your profit.
Yes you would have increased your profit but not by anywhere near as much. If you can only see one team scoring there is no need to take "insurance" by laying the draw.
Hi, In the hertha berlin example, you could've lay the draw with 25 pound, having 75 pound on each of the team

I'm trying to do it with backing my pick pre match, after a break against, after a set down, after a break down in the second. Struggling to get to grips with staking % of each. Winning many more matches than I lose, but obviously losing more on the losers than gaining on the winners, so overall, after BF comms of 6.5% [for being overseas] I'm a little bit in the red.

What is the ultimate strategie for building up your acc, if you don't have big bank, what is the best and the easiest way to boost it up?

Another great and very simple to understand video Ben. I use LTD as my main strategy. Once a goal goes in from my carefully selected match ,I usually cashout, but instead of putting another order in, I leave the match result to see itself out, with the free bet.
I haven't yet tried the Over 2.5 Goals strategy, but plan on doing so today, which at time of this comment is December 1 2021, because being newish to trading, but growing ever excited with each trade, I have been missing out on a trick there.

I think you should have new members enrolled by now giving them ample time to study and practice before the EUROS. I could be wrong though.
You are absolutely right it was just so hard to get it all organised in time with such a quick turnaround from the end of the season. For anyone who is new it might be better to think of the Euros being the practice time for the new upcoming season more than anything! :)

I’ve obviously misunderstood something about the £100 lay bet on Young Boys. I get that the liability of that lay bet was going to take some of your profit if it lost, but you also lose the £100 stake, which is more than the total profit made. What am I missing? If anyone can explain I’d appreciate it. It’s probably something obvious but I can’t get my head around at the moment
I am afraid that I do not agree with your hypothesis in this video. What you are effectively saying is that if a strategy has worked and you have generated some profit, use part or all of that profit and punt it on another strategy. By all means have more than one strategy on a game, but each strategy must stand on its own two feet. To say that I will only invoke strategy B, if strategy A comes off is flawed logic. If strategy B is a good strategy to invoke at a particular point in a game, then it should be invoked, irrespective of how some other strategy has turned out. Some of the examples you showed were no more than gambling with some of your profit and were not trading. I normally enjoy you videos and they are full of sound advice, but I am afraid that this one fell below your usual high standard.
I am not sure where I said we "only" invoke a strategy if the earlier strategy has come off. You should still take the later opportunity if it is indeed an opportunity. For example, the lay the draw in leicester-spurs match you would do no matter if you had profit earlier or not.
you press the cash out button as the other team could score even with 1 minute to go not just to keep it simple. good result, bad reason.

Q: I look at goal segments etc etc but when the new season starts it takes a couple of months to get a decent sample size so how do people make pre match selections when there no real data for a couple of months . Would it be better to be purely inplay until the season heats up ?
trade the summer leagues until there are enough data for the winters
I just watched the summer trading leagues video, so take your pick from them for the first six/seven weeks. Norway, Sweden, Finland, J-League, K-League, A-League, MLS, Serie-A Brazil were the ones he mentioned if I remember rightly. Estonia looks OK too if the volume is good. Aussie A-League my personal favourite. Their defense is pretty shocking so averaging 3 goals a match at much better prices than say Eresdivisie or Jupiler or Bundes2

Much depends on your approach. If you are purely stats based then yes wait for trends to develop.

If you have 1000 pds to invest yoy should use max. 2 % of your bank. ...
If you dont have that you will not .make money in long term
I have strategy. Wich i work whit very little money but i have to spend 7 8 hours a day at front of the computer lay under 1.5 goals after 75 minutes in odds around 1.10 till 1.04
This is a great idea. But what if we can't find any green or the outcome is against us from the beginning of the trade? (lay the draw from start of the game and it is still 0-0 til the nearly end of the game)
Why don’t you use trading software to hedge?
To keep the videos simple and easy to understand for the casual youtube viewer.

Excuse my ignorance but could you answer this ? for me please.
I fancied a draw in the Villarreal Utd final so i backed 1-1 & 2-2 respectively.
When it went to 1-1 I cashed out for a profit thinking that maybe it could still finish 2-2.
To my dismay I discovered that by cashing out I had also cashed out my 2-2 trade.
To my mind it's 2 separate trades/bets as I have had to put money on both outcomes, so why does the exchange treat it as 1 bet/trade?

I am guessing that you just pressed the cash out button? This would cash out ALL bets that you have open on that market. If you just wanted to cash out the 1-1 you would have do that manually. This book would help: sportstradinglife.com/cash
