Just had mine at the shop for a failing torque converter. Guys did a complete rebuild including case saver shims, shift kit, and replacing the metal check balls with plastic to protect the seperator plate from wearing through.

Just rebuilt my 6f35 and noticing a slight bump when going from 1st to 2nd gear. Only 500 miles into the rebuild. Replaced valve and solenoid body, torque converter, pump and clutches. Wondering if you had any idea on the potential issue?
Is there a trick on the torqueconverter nust changed engine and know the fly wheel is hitting the starter and dies when in drive any help with out taking the engine back out dont have 2 post hoist

I have a question regarding a transmission of an 2008 Toyota rav4. I watched one of your prior videos. Basically I’m having an issue installing the back cover where the clutches, sun gear and stuff are located. The first time I installed the cover there was a small gap and a bit of play I put the bolts and it the silicone covered nicely. I drove the car and it was shifting nice but then it started making a noise after a while. The bearing on the outside located on the cover was damaged. So I changed it and I put a new sun gear because the other one was damaged. And I got the direct clutch to seat more inward and the cover sat all the way in but when I started the car and put it into drive it struggled and I had to rev it high so it could go a bit forward. The reverse was fine. I just opened the back of the transmission again to look over everything and everything looks fine. Do you by any chance have an idea what an issue could possibly be or could you tell me if there is supposed to be a small gap when installing the back cover?
Found an installation diagram that shows it, but I can't copy it here. Long story short that didn't work. They were pushing through the plates due to wear. Xmsn needed overhaul for age and overall wear. Good now.
Ford should be ashamed for the ploy of putting a short-life transmission into a popular, affordable car like the Escape. People who are strapped for cash, who think they have a dependable car, are suddenly hit with a repair bill that few can afford.
Wish I'd have heard about these problems before I bought my 2012 Eascape. All I'd heard was how reliable, dependable and easy to fix these vehicles are. Didn't hear shit about transmission issues until mine started acting funny and I start looking up specific information about the car and found a mountain of shit I hadn't read about before because I didnt even know it was a problem until I knew what to look for.

Ford escape 2019, cant drive or reverse unless i put it in high rpms then it bumps or jerks and accelerates slightly
Very nice video I really liked the content very well explained good luck on your future builds ❤

Probably going to revisit this if/when my escape decided it's time. Lot less complex than I expected from a 6 speed.

Is there a video on programing valve body??
You don't need to program valve body on 6f35. You can reset adaptations and relearn the transmission.
Thank you

Hi bro, que tal sale esta trasmision en ford fusion ?
Si se le da un buen mantenimiento fecuente no tiene porque dar tanto problema...
Is the 6f35 the powershift or a different auto transmission unit?
They are different!
Best tip ever? Don't use Mercon LV, switch to Redline D6.
how come?
@@royaxl9153yeah, please give an explanation of why. Can't just drop a bomb like that and give no anecdotal information.
