I love to see Lou from the ‘70’s. That was my decade!! Loved the seventies!! ❤❤❤. Great song too. Headknocker. Lou is the bomb for sure. I wish I could’ve been there. My mind would have been blown!!!
This is the original Foreigner line up that I like not that new crappy current line up that they have right now. No Lou Gramm no Foreigner period!! Anyways killer performance and thank you for loading this!
I remember this from a radio broadcast in the early eighties. It is glorious and it brought a tear to my eye hearing it again. They don't make rock and roll like this anymore, they just don't.
from back when Rock and Roll was real .no auto tune. i feel so sorry for the youth of today. they don,t know what they missed. at least they can watch it here on you tube. but us old farts got to see it live.
Truth no Lou no Foreigner period he was and still the man he deserves to given credit where credit is due he made that group they are crap now I agree with you
Finally!! Bought this!! Originally recorded it off King Biscuit Flower Hour on Dad's reel to reel. Shit is amazing. the Foreigner people don't know. But I remember, they shredded badass!! Drummer going off big time, fellow drummer, love it! Not now, unfortunately.
Lou Gramm belting it out so damn good!!!! What a voice he had!...reminds me of Steve Marriott (Humble Pie) on this one Mick Jones & the band just kickin' ass!!! -GOLD.
I never saw Foreigner, I was a tidbit older (grad. hs 1973) and most of my live rock shows were from '67 thru mid 70's.....then married and well, that ended my love of getting blasted and driving to arena shows with a carload of my buddies. But I can tell by the sound coming out of this vid that this would have been a friggin' great sounding show. Wish I could have been there. Miss those days for sure.
I saw lou with foreigner after he was sick poor guy had to sit most of the show. He still gave it a million percent and it was a great show! He just brought something on stage that either you have or you don't. As a musician myself it's easy to get up and play but harder to bring the charisma.
1978 the same year i went to my first concert it was Foreigner!!!!!!! been a die hard fan ever since then ,nows its 2020. still loving it ,thank you so much for your post!!
Best live footage I've seen on You Tube period. More power and passion the 1000000 of those street showdown instant karma bull shit uploads from todays world will ever have.
Great concert! Sad to watch. Ed Gagliardi was enjoying so much freedom on stage - he was really getting into it without Mick or Lou being in charge at the moment. Once the band returned to the States, Ed was fired, to be replaced by Rick Wills.
@@scarborosasquatchstation1403 Lou looked to me to have no problem with Ed taking center stage! He sat back next to Dennis Elliot on his own drum set! The one who looked preturbed was Mick! Should be noted this was the last concert in London on the Double Vision Tour and Mick fired Ed when they returned to the states.
@@benadam7753 : Yes your right Mick did looked pissed off to say.... Ed was having an amazing great time at this show , even called out to Mick to start playing his guitar...!
This is interesting. On the Then and Now tour in 2018 the new version of the band did the song more like the album. This version is a harder rock version without the keyboards. No piano. I like this. Dennis Elliot just owns the kit. Kelly sings great but Lou back in the day was awesome. Really interesting post!
Rock in the late seventies ruled! It was the people's music!electronic media was a high fidelity stereo and a color t.v.,no smart phones,no p.c. computers, how did we survive?😂
Hey we survived. By simple things and great rock music that is our history and our generation will always cherish I love this band and many more I got lucky to see Lou gramm but I wish I could have seen the original foreign but I have seen many other bands 😘🎸

gtfo....70's rocker hair?-check, cow bell?-check, min and a half intro-check....i wanna just close my eyes and listen thru my jensen tri ax leaning against the back window of my cutlass cuz they were too f big to fit in the back deck. it was better when we WATCHED the concert and not filmed it on our phones.
I was 10 when I saw this tour in '78. One of my aunts took me. My dad didn't find out until YEARS later, because he never would have allowed it. I was in awe. I remember it like it was yesterday! I would give anything to go back and see the concerts from the 70's and 80's! Live shows just aren't the same today.
@powerwindow2...yeah baby!!! I saw “FOREIGNER” 4 times starting around this time at the “New Haven” (CT) veterans memorial coliseum!!! Lou was the MAN!!! Now, I’m 61 y/o, I’m glad I was able to experience REAL music🙋🏽♀️💕
Lou is easily one of the top 5 all time hard rock singers...
When Foreigner was a real Rock band.
ALWAYS LOU GRAHAM!!!!!The voice of FOREIGNER ❤️❤️
I love to see Lou from the ‘70’s. That was my decade!! Loved the seventies!! ❤❤❤. Great song too. Headknocker. Lou is the bomb for sure. I wish I could’ve been there. My mind would have been blown!!!
All I can say is wow! Fuck the Rock and Roll hall of shame. Lou is a legend
Lou Gramm had a fever. The only prescription was MORE COW BELL!!!
Lou sounds as good live as he did on the record……👍🏻
He always did.❤🎉
Lou the Best
Damn! Goosebump city. I saw them on this tour.
Rock n Roll!!
The real original Foreigner! 100% pure adrenaline!!!
This original line up rocked such great memories!!!!!
This is the original Foreigner line up that I like not that new crappy current line up that they have right now. No Lou Gramm no Foreigner period!! Anyways killer performance and thank you for loading this!
you know it
There was no Foreigner without Lou Graham.
I agree. But their new lead singer is good. Great front man.
I agree 💯
No lou no foreigner period kelly hansen sucks
WOW! Freaking wow! Great performance, great band... and Lou Gramm, a superstar💥💥🤘❣️
Ed Gagliardi (R.I.P.) kicking ass on Rickenbacker bass / back up vocals!
Had the luck to see the original lineup in ‘77 & ‘78.
I saw them in September 1978 at the Norfolk Scope in Virginia. Eddie Money opened for them. Great concert. I was 18
A privilege to watch this, historic. DANG!
A Time that will never be duplicated. The trailings of the tough tough 60's.
Lou ❤❤❤✌👌🎤you are the best
this is amazing, where you found the whole lineup of the real FOREIGNER,ALL OF THEM,NATURALLY WITH THE KING OF THE MIC------GENIUS BAND GENIUS FRONTMAN
Amen to that period
The 70’s were all about this!!!
I remember this from a radio broadcast in the early eighties. It is glorious and it brought a tear to my eye hearing it again. They don't make rock and roll like this anymore, they just don't.

Awesome, I seen all there Concerts when they came to my Area for over 45+ yrs.An welcome to the Hall of Fame. Foreigner an Lou Gramm. ❤🎉😊🎤🎸🎹🏆👌👍
Back when there was actual instruments played and real music.
Back in the day, people used to rock.
Nowadays most just stand with their iPhones outstretched blocking the view of those who do.
For sure rockers awesome showmanship period he rocked
Um rock de pura qualidade . O Foreigner e o Lou foram histórico.
Drummer was badass!!
now every buddy listens to possy music!

Holy smokes where did this come from? What a kick ass performance!! Usually their tempo is a bit fast live but this is on point.
ONE a me favorites.....yep....This show is Clappin, Slappin, Crankin n Spankin ALL in ONE......Lou s still da best......Adios n peace on 🌎....
How awesome is this live version?! Love the studio version, but boy THIS is rock music!!!
There first LP was not to be denied and it only went up from there.
Truth no Lou no Foreigner period he was and still the man he deserves to given credit where credit is due he made that group they are crap now I agree with you
Mick is just milkin' that shit!
I wanted all of their winter coats for Christmas!

I miss rock music. And don't say there still is rock music. You know what I mean.
I just heard this the other day on a classic rock station. I haven't heard this in 20 + years !!! Awesome flashback !!!!
Yep that’s right! That’s how we rocked. No fooling around, we had a great time!
Them boys is tearing it up WOWWW this music may be back in 1978 but music like this never gets old lou's tearing it up and the band is tearing it up 🤭
Saw them many times in the late 70's in Ohio! Always made me get up and dance!! 👏👏👏😘🩵❤️💛
I was privileged to see these guys on two tours before mick started dismantling the band then again right after.
As a side note to this outrageously good performance, I LOVE seeing Lou sling that hair around!! Love!!! 💕
That is what you call " fuck hair" because it looks like you just got fucked all the time..

Um Show excelente do grupo Foreigner com o vocalista Lou Gram. Eles estavam excedentes .O Lou sempre incansável e inesquecível.

Two words:
DA-YUM!!!
My absolute favorite Foreigner song. The lyrics are genius.

Now that's a Singer
Lou and Paul Rodgers -da best!
I'd like to play this through my Pioneer supertuner with the 694s in the back of my 69 Pontiac Lemans.
Lou made that band. Mick is great but Lou made your band Mick. The true Foreigner.
This is a real gem! Thank you for the upload!
Lou Gramm will always be the real
Voice of FOREIGNER
just like Steven Tyler is for AEROSMITH or as
Paul Rodgers will be for,
BAD COMPANY.
Real rock, hands down

He stole the show! It's great and so rare to see a footage of Ed taking the frontman's place, with Lou back on drums.
So sad. There was no real good reason to fire Ed Gagliardi. RIP: Ed...

THE REAL FOREIGNER!!! SO KICKASS!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
That original LINEUP was the only band for me. All the other tribute singers are lame compared to LOU GRAMM. They are real fake LOU...sers. 🤐
didn't recognize Lou playing the drums
+So? Ed was doing a great job!
It was fun to see and that's how you realize what a small guy he is the drums swallowed him up😅
