I want to translate this but I am not fluent in French and did not grasp all of what they were saying so I’ll try my best to summarize what they say word for word. For those of you wondering, the reporter is talking about how Audrey has arrived in Nice, France. He asks if she had a good vacation, she says yes but she’s sad to leave because her husband is staying to finish a movie again. She says he is returning to the Studio de la Victorine (a film studio in Nice) and she has no more company and she hopes he will return to her soon. The interviewer asks what film Mel is working on and she says “Les Mains d’or lac” (in English “The Hands of Orlac”). I think he asks her if she is going to Cannes and she says “no, not this time.” He asks if she is passionate about cinema and she says yes but she is not going because she’s pregnant. The reporter asks when if she and Mel have other places they go to vacation, and does she prefer to be near the sea or the mountains. She says she is now returning to their house in Burgenstock, Switzerland, and it’s always a vacation there because the mountains are so marvelous and her and Mel are at home. The reporter says “we wish you a good vacation” and asks in the coming months does she have any film projects. She says yes, she’s going to do a film in America at the end of September for Paramount, which whom she has a contact. The reporter asks who the director will be and she says Blake Edwards (the director of Breakfast at Tiffany’s). He thanks her for her time, she thanks him and says goodbye.
