    Now that several companies are doing a torque sensor on a hub drive, I am waiting for one of these smart manufactures to throw a map switch on the handlebar and you select between cadence or torque. I believe it would be very doable. Could get your work out one day, take an easy fun, ride the next.

    • @PapaSteve1
      @PapaSteve1 Год назад +6

      Hi. I have this bike. You can still ride it very easy without much work. I have a cadence bike as well. I will take the torque sensor bike any day over the cadence sensor. It just gives you so much more control over the ride.

    • @rayrussell6258
      @rayrussell6258 Год назад +4

      @@PapaSteve1 I am a senior citizen, looking for first time at e-bikes, for substitution of car to do errands around neighborhood when possible. Cadence seems to also be a better control of ride to me, you just don't pedal to go slower. But it will still give you top end speed by pedaling easily. On the other hand, my leg strength won't allow me to get maximum speed with a torque sensor ..... so I lose control with this Ranger ebike, torque sensor takes it away. First post above is correct, the e-bike companies should put both sensors on every bike, and give us a toggle switch. This is not a fair substitution taking away cadence for many of us. I'm not doing this for a workout. Mowing the lawn already does that for me. 😀

    • @southernebiking
      @southernebiking Год назад +4

      And I will say, this right here shows the need in the market for such a switch. Different people have different needs. I believe a lot of people would pay a little bit more to have the choice on their own bike. I also believe as a manufacturer, it could be done profitably. It would not cost as much to implement as the market would pay for it. But the two responses here show it could be very viable.

  • @cherrysap8619
    @cherrysap8619 Год назад +10

    Looks like a sweet bike. The lock out feature is for when you want to stand up and pump your legs up a hill and don't want some of that energy absorbed by the suspension, and then when you are at the top of the hill, you unlock it and have suspension again. Some higher end mountain bikes even have a remote leaver that mounts on the handle bars so you don't have to reach down and do that. Don't see the need for a lock out on an ebike, but that is what it is used for. Super love your content keep it up!!

    Great review my friend 👍 one of the best reviews so far, very in depth and precise, thanks 👍 these Rangers have had a big impact here in the UK as a few reviewers have spoken very highly of them, a bit steep on the price, but for what you get with the spec it’s a no brainer if you want an all rounder off roader 👍 I have heard that the tyres slow the bike down on road and some have changed to tarmac tyres 🤷‍♂️ thanks for sharing 👏

    There was a good list of reasons I would pass. I wouldn't want to be beta tester for the front wheel attachment being #1 I mean it may be totally safe but if not I'd rather other people find that out first hand than me. The second but not only reason is if they are cheaping out by not including so much as plastic fenders then I don't want to find out where else they are trying to make a bit of extra money. This is just my opinion and everyone is totally free to disagree with me.

    Hey @CitizenCycle I have a question, I just bought the Ranger, it arrived yesterday and I took it for a ride. I really like it minus one issue. Perhaps it's my own ignorance but when I twist the throttle while pedaling, the motor quits providing power. Is that Normal, did you experience that? My other ebike does NOT behave that way. it gives me a boost to get up a hill or quick boost of speed for whatever reason, even just to get started from a standstill...

Ce prix de 2900€ pour Cyrusher Ranger 2023 est abusif. Les composants du vélo sont insuffisants. Avec 2900€ pour le Cyrusher Ranger 2023 qui est trop chère, moins des matériels composant de qualité, il faut acheter le Lankeleisi MG 600plus, 1.500€, 750W, 150Km d'autonomie, avec une batterie de 52V 20Ah. Avec un porte- bagage et des couvertures de protection de pneus contre la boue. Cyrusher exagère dans les prix d'achat avec un vélo électrique qui roule moins vite sur la route ; le travail musculaire est élevé, on arrive au travail fatigué, dégageant la transpiration. Ce n'est pas génial. Un vélo véritable électrique doit rouler seul. Le cycliste ne doit rien faire. IL ne doit pas se fatigué. IL doit juste pédaler dans la semoule, dans le vide, sans fournir d'effort musculaire pour ne pas trop se fatiguer, car tout le monde n'a pas de force de pédalage. Beaucoup utilisent en Allemagne ces derniers temps, le vélo électrique pour aller travailler et le week-end, faire de voyage. Mais un vélo électrique lourd, solide, résistant, rustique, qui avance vite sans efforts musculaire ne peut que plaire à la clientèle Germanique Européenne. N'est-ce pas ? Cyrusher doit améliorer ces points !

    That's way too much $$$ for that bike ! I'd rather buy an Ariel Kepler or wicked freedom for $500 + savings and faster bikes !!!!!!
