This video shows what are the most frequent errors that are made when making geological sections, and how to avoid them (examples of frequent errors: wrong topographic profile, problems with the dips of the layers, with the thicknesses, the geological patterns or the legend). Many examples are explained, and the video ends by presenting a corrected geological section shown in the video.
This video has been put online for beginners in geology, in particular in License 1 and 2 at the University, or for high school students in science courses.
