I'm a new subscriber. A year ago I weighed 376. My waist was 54. I don't weigh myself because I don't want to be distracted by a number. My waist now is a 42. And it was a big change in my attitude and self discipline. I thought to myself one day that I was never hungry. I then said to myself, if I am never hungry I would never lose weight. So I made myself hungry 3 times a day. Canceled the processed and fast food. A big reduction in carbs and no longer looking at food as anything other than nourishment. Food is no longer for a hobby, sport or entertainment. I still enjoy a holiday meal with family but now 60 years old I have way better control over what I consume. Looking back in history. There wasn't a convince store on every corner selling snacks and beverages loaded with sugar. I believe the biggest stride I made was changing from snacks all day every day to never snacking at all. I still have a long way to go as my waist size shouldn't be more than a 34 so I am half way to my goal.

I drink a lot of water. But I don't drink water 25-30 minutes before a meal. I eat so little already, that if I drank water 15 minutes before, I would have to wait another 15 minutes in order to eat. If I am really hungry, I will not do this. I believe for those that overeat, that this would be a great option.

Once upon a time someone once told me to STOP eating when i feel about 20% full. Wait 20 minutes and see if I am still hungry and most always, I am not.
Now, my biggest downfall is that I eat when I'm feeling tired that day, don't feel like doing much and just eat out of boredom.
I have recently discovered that when i eat in the morning with my kid's that i get tired and feel sleepy all day. If I don't eat at all and wait until after 4pm to eat, I am a bowl full of energy most of the day. Understanding more and more why YAHUAH said to fast. Not only is it helping us spiritually, it's also helping us energetically, mentally and physically.

I never eat from the bag. I look at the serving size and put my snack in a cute snack size bowl and the 3 cookie rule is best. But I'm still fat! Lol I agree with this rule, it does work. If you eat 2 slices of pizza try this rule with one piece and you'll find that it's enough. I usually end my meal with the water last as it swells up the food. But that's when I'm behaving. 😉

After the first bite, there’s a diminishing return on the flavor with each subsequent bite. You can eat whatever you want and still lose weight. You want a donut? Take 1 or 2 bites, enjoy them, and be done. Mindless eating and large quantities are what impact the waistline.

And don't eat anything with Acid . Smoothies with fruit in them will not be good for your Esophagus.
Don't eat anything with Sugar in it . Zinc Carnosine will HEAL your esophagus .
You are best to drink "room temperature water " not cold or hot water . It's not good for digestion.
