I thought the idea of watching youtube to become a better dancer was the most absurd thing in the world when I first started, but it helps. So long as there are awesome dancers around to watch. :D Nathan is consistently amazing here. @_@

Ok. It's called That Da Da Strain, and other than the main riff, it's all improvised. Props to the dancers for their ability to adapt.

Check out a documentary called "The Spirit Moves." It is the best primary-source material for jazz dancers. Many of my steps are either directly from "The Spirit Moves," or can be found there incidentally.

also, we watch alot of youtube and practice alot. But I hear that both Sydney and Perth have great Swing Scenes, you should check it out.

I agree, in my head I placed Pontus, Nathan and Gabriella in that order

You were good, homie. You had good musicality and hit the beat really well with the shoe polish move. To be the first one in the cipher is kinda hard when the beat is just getting warmed up. You had really dope concepts and poses in your third round. Keep rockin, John. There's a reason you made it to the finals and these haters are still behind a keyboard.
    Peace and Respect,

Do you know what this song is called? I thought they were improvising and that always changes the game

Where the devil do these people learn such moves? And more importantly, where can I learn this sort of stuff in Australia (I live in SA)?!

Pontus and Nathan smoked everyone. Nathan's footwork was crisp and nasty and Pontus had great concepts, played with levels and really played with the music (though he did consistently get the best parts of the song). People can cluck about clothes and ethnicity, but when it comes to dance, skill talks. Step to them and I'm sure they'd smoke you.

Pontus , Bobby have better and appropriate dressing style, ladies' style looks awful...to Givemeaname55555: Charleston's root is American-African dance, but funny enough, "Despite its origins, the Charleston is most frequently associated with white flappers and the speakeasy."(from Wikipedia). But I definitely see some good black Charleston/lindy dancers around...even not a lot. Maybe mainstream of them just concentrate on Hiphop? :)
