I’m 62 yrs old. Music is and has always been life for me. There has never been a group like BTS and there never will be another group who can reach their level. Right there at 62 with both of you!!! These men are the absolute BEST. I won't go into what they've given me, but suffice it to know that they woke the almost-extinguished spark for life in my heart and made me LIVE again.

They give me so much hope for this generation to really change the world. The kids are alright.
Fun facts: They recreated the staircase scene as an intro to ON in their MMA 2020 performance. Same line-up (with an empty spot where recovering Suga would've been), same camera clip of the boot etc. And N.O is short for No Offense. 💜

Yes JK did a lot of rapping in their earlier songs .. that song was a clapback against the system in their country that just held the young people back from realising their dreams .. they were in school 16 hrs per day .. when they got jobs, they wouldn't even be paid because according to the bosses, they were getting experience .. some of their systems were very oppressive in my opinion .. BTS was brave enough to address those things in their songs .. another song that they talk about things holding down young people is Ddaeng also Baepsae👍🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜Luke I have to say this must be the first reaction I've seen you do without getting emotional .. don't worry, you aren't alone with that, its just how much we love them right 👍👍🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜

No hate for any other grp but this is we love BTS so much. They always release what they want to release. They don't care if the song will be a hit or a not they just share what they want to share with us. Lots of kpop grps release songs for only to get more views ( No hate ) BTS don't stick with 1 genre, 1 concept or one thing which is only helps them to make hits and make them popular which is very rare in kpop.
Oh of course, so many wonderful K-pop groups out there and they are all amazing at what they do and that is the same for BTS just absolutely amazing at what they do!! 💯💯💜💜

could not agree more. i am so tired of all labels using the same old formula of music and all producers do the same kind of music but to me BTS is so different from the rest i have tried to find another group to listen to but it´s impossible. sorry but they feel to plastic or made up. to perfect almost idk. but with BTS you can see their personality and how they are just like you and me i really like that. and they are always honest and really love army and each other. it´s the whole package

Jungkook is the main voicalist, lead dancer, sub rapper and center of bts from the beginning.
Baby/"Old School" BTS is hard to beat!! We all love hearing JK rap!!!! I think they were quite brave at this young age to speak up about the subjects they sing/rap about (especially considering where they lived and the political environment of the time and how kpop was, even just 9 years ago).
As you liked to hear JK rapping, I recommend you to watch Ddaeng ot7...

This song has some of the best live dance breaks of their collection.
With BTS it's the connections... not just our feelings for them, but the connections to their/our life stories, and the connections between the music. N.O. connects to ON. Save Me connects to I'm Fine, etc... They (and Army) have become a part of my life.

I think there are so many elements to BTS success and global phenomenon, its not replicable. The core of it is just the members themselves : their sincerity and integrity, the relationship they have worked on with eachother and with ARMY. Its a once in a generation thing i think.
I wish I had known BTS from these early eras, their energy was so inspirational. Every BTS era has a message of growth and encouragement that reflected their own personal growth, its fascinating to see. I cant wait to see their live concert saturday 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

JK used to rap a lot in their earlier songs. He wrapped it no more dream even their first video release which you have reacted to I think.
They still talk about those same things and more in their later work as well. They're still talking about chasing your dreams and not letting anyone else tell you otherwise and to fight against the oppression etc.

When you watched the MAMA 2019 performance you’ll remember they did Dionysus as their last song, but there was a EDM sounding dance break in the middle - that was a remix of N.O. Maybe you recognized it from the beginning of this song.

Hahahaha, I want one vest too. This song is extraordinary. Oh the dance practice is awesome. They have extremeley amazing lyrics and choreos in this era. You can see the energy, power and hunger in their performances. I always think it is an anomaly to have the 7 most talented people in one group. 10 years of hardwork and never settling, never fully satisfied have paid off. Yesterday I saw the award show and I saw a group of super talented, mature, experienced, happy men singing just for their love to music, to each other and to ARMY.
Thank you for doing this. It's always been a favorite of mine! There are still so many songs you haven't heard...like Let Go and So What! Both are concert staples...you haven't heard Lights which is so self affirming...because it's in Japanese. And you haven't reacted to any of their duets like Friends (Jimin and V), Even if You Die (V and Jin) and We Don't Talk Anymore (JK and Jimin) Then there are the BTS World songs like Heartbeat and Dreamglow and then the Covers like Perfect Man (Jimin, JK and J-Hope) and Autumn Outside the Post Office ( Jin). I think a lot of the evolution in their style comes as a result of growing up while in this industry and finding confidence in knowing that they have said what they wanted to say. The early years definitely have the flavor of youth fighting to make their message heard, as now they know it will not only be heard, but spread by an ARMY of fans who love & support them. 💜

I kinda miss the older rawer BTS. I wish they would do more of the hard hitting social commentary songs. I think with the state of the world and the hardships people are going through in todays world it's a needed message to inspire people to do something about it!
Other groups are talented but BTS have that certain something that raises them above the others. Their personalities make what they do so much more appealing. The way they began was unique so you’re probably right, there will never be anyone like them.

i agree and in most groups there are maybe a few good members who are really talented. and then there are those who you easily overlooked because they are just basic. for BTS all 7 members shine in their own way and together they feel so complete. RM even said that what he lacks the other members got and that goes for every member.

You’ve heard Jk rap before in other songs.. even their debut song he has a fast fire rap! This song was a risk when they released it bc you don’t fight back against authority in their culture. To expose the toxic cycle of the societal expectations that has led the ages of 10-19 in Korea to have the HIGHEST suicide rate in the world…. And making music about these taboo topics make them outcasts in their industry… so they made their way from the outside in by expanding and gaining support globally before domestically… it’s wild but something I love about them!

I love this song because of the criticism of korean education like the students have to study like robots, they have no time to enjoy the teenager life, they leave school and continue studying at coffees and other places because of the society and their parents' pression... and there is also the school pression because of the notes ranking... its crazy

and no i dont think another group will make the same kind of devotion and love BTS has. they are loved for their messages and that will go down in history. no other boy group in the world have done it like them. many kpop groups are trying to copy BTS. they make tv shows and some write their own lyrics but if you are not passionate by doing it it will just become another job. it also feels fake when they just copy the formula🙄BTS is organic
