As a self taught engineer, started at 13 to code, now im 28, + 8 years as a professional engineer, I dont feel anything in regards to the "title" inflation. It wont matter, if you are good and you will get hired regardless of your titles, the title will only help you get a foot in the industry nothing more, once youre in the title wont matter
I started at 11 but I want to follow the same route as you. Any advice? Right now I am finishing my simple BASIC programming language, "Merlin". Thanks, again if you have any advice I would be super grateful to hear it.
@@tomaspereirats2840 Hey, what worked for me is spent literally hours in front of the computer building actual stuff. What I mean is, build projects instead of only following tutoriales or solving puzzles (algorithms)
I've worked with a blind programmer. Kind of, I went through a training program for a company, and when they paired us up with workers at the actual job site, instead of a classroom at the college, I got paired with a blind guy. I helped him with an f2p client that had a drop down list box, and didn't have a tab stop on it. He had a lot of extra hardware, text to speech ofc, and a braille bar. And ofc his guide dog was under his desk. There was a female programmer on one of my Y2K projects for a student loan company. Her code was some of the best in the company. But we didn't see much of her code for Y2K work. And another very old lady programmer at the factory Y2K contract.
The US is a very beautiful country and there's a lot of things I love about it but I would never move there. The money doesn't matter that much with the poor working and social conditions, bad education, absurd levels of violence and the unstable political situation. I would never let my kids grow up there.
I like that you said: "I need more likes, comments and subscribers". I like this much better than the average RUclipsr trying to get you to comment by asking a question that you know he has no interest in reading your answer. Honestly, I feel like the like system of RUclips is just broken. I only like videos that I would watch again or that added some great value to my life. I actually use the "liked videos" playlist so it doesn't make sense for me to like every video I watch. Yes, I could save videos to another playlist but this is just too much effort (I know I'm lazy :D). I wish liking would be more of a "This was a good video, I will like it" than a "This video changed my life" thing. Maybe they should have another button to immediately save a video to a default playlist without the need of pressing the save button and choosing a specific playlist. This would probably make me like more videos.

I would kindly disagree with the part of 'adding up' everything and still ending up with better quality of life in America. Europe is hands down much better place to live. People are not as extremist as America. In America, every part of life is just so extreme, from nutrition, to housing and rent prices, income segregation, Trump/Hilary voters... I firmly believe that here in Europe life is better, your mind is at peace even though financially you might have lower standard. Society around you and people you interact with on daily basis make up a huge portion of what I'd call 'standard'. Love your videos man, thanks from Croatia 🇭🇷
There is a vast salary gap compared to the US. In Europe, a senior dev can get, at most, $60 to $80k. Where a mid-level dev can earn around $200K in the US.
Salaries in the US are high but so is the cost of living especially in the major cities like SF, NYC & even Boston, Austin, Vagas etc. Even London which is the most expensive city in Europe with the most tech jobs is less expensive than most US cites with tech jobs. In London you can rent a really nice place for $2500pm, the equivalent place in SF or NYC would be $5K to $7K. It's not just the free health care in Europe, the cost of living is lower. The typical Salaries in London are not that much lower than in the US either. An $80K (£82K) salary in London or the UK would put you in the top 10% of earners & would be the equivalent of earning well over $100K in SF or NYC
What's your point? Even considering CoL, those salaries are insanely high with an insane purchasing power. You do understand fast-food workers, gas station employees, service workers etc also exist in HCoL areas right? How are they able to live with low salaries? CoL is the most bullshit argument I've heard whenever usa salaries come up.
@@tejeshreddy6252 $100K in SF or NYC is not that high considering the average rent on a decent 1 bed apartment is $6 - $7K a month & the average family house is $2 - $3 million. Yeah it's still way better than a fast food job but it really cuts into what you get living in a high cost of living city in the US
@@AA-Crow bro tell that to some of my friends who are working in the US as freshers and saving tons more than I will every year. CoL argument is a myth, even with absurdly high CoL with NYC faang salaries it's very easy to retire early while living comfortably.
