Great job, what’s your preferred shot placement in these cages? And what do you dispatch with? I’m new to cage trapping I’ve always used kill sets but prefer this method. Thank you and congrats on a nice season
Thanks. I think you’ll like cages. I like setting washes and drainages. Rock piles do well in producing fur too. I use a catch-all release pole to dispatch bobcats. K9’s I use a .22.
I have a question about fleas and tics, etc. Do these bobcats have issues with pests and parasites that you have to deal with? I saw a coyote get hit by a car out near Gold Canyon and thought I'd check it out. It was infested with hundreds, maybe thousands of fleas. Do the cats have fleas too?
Good question….cats are fairly clean animals. Very few pests on their pelts. Very few fleas if any. Never any ticks…canines like fox and coyotes always.. especially down in the desert..
November is getting closer . Cant wait to see what you do . Thanks for sharing .
I’m excited… Funny thing is this is the season before last. I haven’t done any video editing for last season🤦🏻♂️
Great season!! You got some beautiful cats in your part of the country! Cant wait to see what this upcoming season brings!
Thanks… I can’t wait for this upcoming season as well.
Excellent video
Thank you for always following along

A great season.
Thanks. It was. Hoping for a repeat.
That's a lot of bob cats in one season. You are one heck of a trapper! How many traps are you running?
Thanks you…I run about 40-45 cages per line. I do about eight lines of season.
