Preschool (formally known as nursery school) is for children to prepare to go to kindergarten. It teaches numbers, colors, beginning reading, writing, and as Meghan stated music, dance, physical skills, fine motor skills as well as social skills. Children learn to raise their hands, how to say please and thank you, how to act in a school setting. I'm sure in the financial bracket that Harry and Meghan are in there are also lessons that children of very rich and powerful people must learn aside from coloring inside the lines. Lilibet has probably already ridden her first pony, is already learning to swim in their pool and may have already been taught how to curtsey in case her grandfather ever decides to meet her. Millions of American children attend preschool daily. For some it's daycare so the parents can go to work, for some like Harry and Meghan who can afford a nanny, it is purely to benefit their children to give them a boost, a head start before entering the school years.
The fact that you assess Harry's statement about not seeing the King and say Harry is moving away from complaining about the Royals, shows you didn't read between the lines.

It's this channel that is making their visit to Nigeria seem to overshadow what William does. It's as if the press is so delusional or greedy, or both, that they make up headlines that aren't true. If the reporting on Meghan and Harry stopped, no one would complain. If reporting on the Royal Family stopped there'd be another uproar like the one about Princess Catherine "going missing" recently. In reality, the Markles don't overshadow a thing.
