- A radioactive sandstorm is descending on the ash wastes with all the fury of a nuclear hurricane. All in the area must flee at once back to the relative safety of Hive Octavian. Anyone left outside the hive walls when the sandstorm hits is surely doomed!

Some were models from wargames exclusive. They did cars for inquismunda 28 some years back! Including the gsc limo!

It is rare that I am yelling and screaming and cheering for success at the end of a battle report. I understand that it is just a game and ultimately not be at the edge of my seat. This fight broke that feeling and I found myself routing and cheering for Shrapnel more than anyone else

I’ve been a little indifferent to the idea of the ash wastes. Love the support for the game but hadn’t really felt the need to try it out. This certainly changed that. What a blast this game looked like.
Yeah, I'd definitely recommend it. Being able to hop in and out of the underhive to spice things up with a bit of vehicular madness every so often really keeps things fresh! Really easy to pick up if you already know the Underhive rules as well. Good luck in the wasteland mate!

We've only just moved out of the Underhive to start our adventures in the Wastes and I've taken a lot from this...from rules to terrain deployment.
it goes without saying that your videos are streets ahead of any other videos out there...but I'm going to say it anyway, superb mate.

Well welcome to the wasteland! Yeah, I reckon a lot less terrain is needed, not only to help the vehicles get around but because the weather conditions are usually 12" to 18" visibility, your fighters not being perma-dug in behind hard cover isn't an issue cos no one can see the little blighters. lol it took me a second time of watching to realize the outcast armored bikes were made from knight carapace armor. Brilliant idea...
They're actually a 3D print, but whichever clever chap originally designed them definitely based them on Knights n' no mistaking! So I'm afraid I can't take the credit for them, but if you've got a 3d printer you can easily replicate them!
@@doubleskullwargaming they look exactly like the Armiger knight carapace armor and I'm about to kitbash Armiger knights to create wheelbarrow-like abominations for the Cawdor (a single-wheeled contraption that's pushed by the skeleton of an Armiger knight). The original carapace armor is way too nice for the Cawdor ;-)). I need something more ramshackle to cover the cockpit section. Hence I could use the carapace armor pieces for "something else" ;-).

Really enjoyed this one, and (like several others I see!) I was really rooting for that enforcer patrolman at the end!
One question - As I read the rules for vehicle collisions, both sides of an impact are determined by the movement characteristic of the moving vehicle (i.e. if a m5 vehicle drives into a m9 vehicle, both would take a S3 hit, the moving vehicle wouldn't take a s7 hit as it's using his movement of 5 to determine both hits). It's not 100% clear but that's how I understood it initially.
I'll be honest, I haven't got a clue! I'd have to scour the rulebook with a fine squig-comb. Some of the rules are so weirdly written that they can be read multiple ways. You're probably right though, getting stuff wrong is what I do best! Thanks for watching Ken!

Love the Rust Nails Light Vehicles - Any chance of getting a conversion build video for them and the Van Saar vehicle? Can't pinpoint what the wheels and drives are on them.
Great report and really helped me see how vehicle play in Ash Wastes.
The light vehicles and ridgerunner are 3d prints mate, have you got a 3d printer? If so I'll dig out the files for you if you want. I did hack out the back of the ridge runner to make the transport deck and the light vehicles have the weapons converted, but you'll be able to get pretty close pretty easily. The other vehicles are all conversions, but just couldn't resist those light vehicle bikes when I saw them!

32:50 that's not how mines work - they have a chance to explode when models move within 2" of them. You roll a D6 and apply if it explodes or not.

Thanks Deathwing! Yeah, the limo was bought online, it's not a GE mini though. I think I got mine on Etsy. If you type in Genetic Cult Civic Limo into Google it should pop up. Really good quality. It doesn't come with a heavy flamer though!

Also, I don't believe you can group activate a vehicle. Group activation specifies "fighters" and vehicles are not fighters.
The driver is a fighter though

Interestingly there doesn't seem to be such a thing as 'ammo dice' that I can find... Rules refer to firepower dice and making ammo checks, the only reference to 'ammo dice' that I can find is in the twin-linked rule! I might be missing something though?
@@kengroom6883 yes, im assuming ammo dice is those that you roll ammo checks with.

My initial assumption was that ammo dice meant firepower dice - partly because I've seen that used in other places online, e.g. if you try to buy the necromunda dice sets online, they say they contain ammo dice (meaning the firepower dice), injury dice, D6s and a scatter dice. That's only from 3rd party sellers though as they're not on the GW website anymore, so not exactly definitive!

I love those vehicles. But I don't know Necromunda very well: Are they official Necromunda Vehicles, or are there rules for "take whatevery you want". Some of them are from the "big" 40k game, some are really unknown for me
Hi Alexander, so there are some official ones like the ridgerunner, ridgehauler, wolf quad and a few others, and then there is a custom workshop where you can build your own vehicles out of light, medium or heavy profiles and add loads of custom equipment. It's a great system if you want to create your own custom ride!

I like the video but the gun sounds need to be turned drastically down. They destroy your ear drums when you're trying to hear your narration.
