Great review Rob! I have acquired both this black and the blue works cars. Details, as you mention, are simply out of this world. Makes other models in my collection seem mundane almost by comparison!
Hi Rob Festive season greetings to you and your family. I've finally bought an Exoto model, it's the works Nissan entry like this model. Bought it on ebay new, get it in a bit. Looks like an impressive model.
Very nice pick up Rob, I've never seen a close up look at that, engine bay looks amazing and the air jacks wow!! I've had a few exoto models gt40 and the 76 porsche in Avus Galaxy green it was superb. I also had the CMC Mercedes SLR McLaren that thing was amazing someone picked up a bargain when I sold that wish I still had it though. Thanks for the great review!
Yes! Finally, I was waiting for this for such a long time when I commented in one of your videos that you should get an exoto. The detail in this is insane. Thank you for doing this review SO Much. This is an amazing review as always. Thanks
Rob, A great review. I own several CMC Models. After watching you're review of this race car I have decided to purchase one next month. I was wondering about the door hinges. They seam to be a bit over size? Again, thanks for the review. My great grandchildren are going to love this car in about 10 years.
great review! EXOTO produces really cool models I was trying to find Porsche 935 at an acceptable price for a long time and luckily bought it for about 220 USD on their official website, sometimes they do huge discounts their, about 1-2 month ago they offered that Porsche for about 100 USD I don't remember how I became subscribed to their emails, sometimes they send a lot of them but you can find there really good offers and discounts btw Porsche 935 has working suspension, does this Nissan have? looks like no and the level of Porsche details is similar to Nissan, just engine is not so cool because it is smaller and can't be completely opened
2:48 what type of glue should be used on composite models (for future reference) as I don't want to use superglue as it might damage or stain any model?
As far as I know, they are NOT in business anymore. Most of the listings on Ebay for Exoto models are from the one seller Casabattiloro which is actually Exoto. This is all unsold stock and once that is gone, it is gone! Worth buying one, the detail is amazing and they don't make models like these anymore!
Also, although it's expensive like every other one of their models, CMC does have a McLaren Mercedes SLR in 1:18 and 1:12 scale so it's a supercar you might want to look into
technically your right they are but they mainly play in the large scale domain i think rob without saying so was referring to 1/18 as the default collector size most people buy and at 1/18 amalgams suck

Congrats, they are superb and gone are the days of the super detailed diecast models
Exoto is absolute insanity!!!!!! Just got my Porsche 935, WOW

and about CMC, take a look at McLaren SLR :) I was thinking about buying it but it costs A LOT, maybe one day...
Rob, Awesome Review 👌I liked the model so much I bought one for my collection 😀
They are amazing. Pity Exoto went bust.

CMC had made 1/18 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren years ago, and it’s very worthy to have one!

Exoto makes a nice model!
*Any suggestions regarding the best place/website/ ebay seller to buy Exoto Models from ?*
You should get a Mazda 787B in your collection. I think exoto do it as a model. One of the most detailed models of exoto is the Mercedes c9
Unfortunately Exoto never made (or promised) the Mazda 787B, I think you're confusing it with the AutoART version.
But the c9 is assume!

I have this model as well. The suspension works, but there isn't a lot of movement / spring-travel.
The Exotos just looks more REAL than the majority to me
CMC is better
@@raveinus I would love to own one ... have never seen on in real life ..

Unbezahlbar !!!!
In Goodwood kannst du diese Autos sehen
Oder auf den Historischen Rennen .

Phantastico
exoto is the best! I have three of these nissans in different liveries
Agree, I am looking at getting the R91 in yellow with the FromA livery to add to my collection
The Sauber Mercedes C9 by Exoto is really special!
@@brettrobinson4352 yeah I have that too 😎
@@sbkarmen that's awesome
One of best diecast models around in my opinion, that Mercedes C9
@@brettrobinson4352 I got the winning set with rolling chassis and finish condition one. It’s crazy how expensive they have gotten
Do these come with a plastic or a metal chass
All diecast
Crazy that the engine in this kinda ended up in the McLaren 12C and P1. (I did write kinda)
That engine was specially developed for the 12C.
Car Looks amazing!
What do you think of amalgam models?
usmaan abdullah way to expensive
awesome!
Wow
Is Exoto still in business?
As far as I know, they are NOT in business anymore. Most of the listings on Ebay for Exoto models are from the one seller Casabattiloro which is actually Exoto. Interesting
Why does no Exoto model owner ever try to take a wheel off to show off the braking system? I feel like I'm the only person which does that
Also, although it's expensive like every other one of their models, CMC does have a McLaren Mercedes SLR in 1:18 and 1:12 scale so it's a supercar you might want to look into
I think Amalgam is the most high end car model brand.
technically your right they are but they mainly play in the large scale domain i think rob without saying so was referring to 1/18 as the default collector size most people buy and at 1/18 amalgams suck
You should also think of Exoto 1/10 scale😂
Their 1/18 resin models are really not worth it. BBR and MR models are the ceiling for 1/18 high end resin.
I cringe whenever I see someone handle a Exoto bare handed
It is safer to do it for these reviews than wearing gloves which can be slippery!
