@@jsutton892 been playing 2 years and I love the game. I try and play other games and they are just meh. But in the two years of playing, I have never shot a single round of gold/premium ammunition.

stopped playing this game a few years ago, but I love watching claus Kellerman :). Armor hasn't meant a damn thing ever since they made gold rounds accessible with credits
I know this was painful session. But i loved how you tried different setup's and truly showing how the tank performed. Plus i always love the comentary. Thanks for the great video.
Claus you bounced 0 because your whole hull was sticking out in the first game. The tank only had 10 degree gun depression like T34 not like Krav with 15 degree. Also the hill spot you were on was too sloped so you have to stick out your whole hull to shoot. Should have switched hills to Centurion side.
Another "heavy" tank with perfectly engineered armor so that it stops most of tier 8 silver rounds, but also lets majority of tier 8 gold through.

stopped playin WOT because of the premium ammo...long time ago...loved my ST-1 until game after game my 'super' turret was penned 8 or 9 times out of 10 by anyone...still love Claus however...good job buddy!

Screw Christmas Loot Boxes. I am out. I have had enough of this BS where these tanks perform fantastic for 3 months after the new year and then suddenly suck, get bad soft stats and are almost always in Tier 10 games after that.

WG needs to limit premium loadouts. 20% of capacity maximum.
That aint fixing anything. That just means people will not shoot papers with premium. Armor will still be irrelevant.

I think that the second battle went bad not because of the gold ammo but because that td was allowed to expose itself (to hit your lower plate) without getting punished by your team that wasn't supporting you at all. At that point was just a question of dpm, and you can't win vs an at15 with that thing...

Tanks Claus! Your reviews are awesome. That's another fine tank offering, with all the flavor of a pre-licked potato chip. And I also agree, all tanks shoot better with the tabbed Russian-Initiative.
Claus you have to understand that this tank looks like it was designed to be "dug in" and used like a pill box. That would make the frontal armor make more sense. Unfortunately we cannot call up the engineers to dig those holes for us in the game.

Personally, I would probably swap the vents with the turbo, or a rammer, since its dpm is already bad
It feels like everyone shoots gold, and you are penned all the time. Except I load gold, then it all bounces. The real problem is the level of rng. One game you bounce 3000hp and the next you are penned like swiss cheese by a light tank.
That's true. Loading gold always doesn't make you better. It gives you an advantage for sure.

5% premium ammo, they may include all the MG ammo u get on the smaller tanks, even at that, we all see gold when u get penned, Yuri we tell them 5% and they believe it
"Armour is meaningless" unless you're driving Russian tanks that reliably bounce 145-mm pen British shells with 15 mm of Soviet steel :P
A new tank that looks like a Concept 1B will have players shooting gold bc it might have armour. Always shot gold at new unknown tanks....just to be safe😜

Good news, for me, about this year's Loot Boxes is that all the tier 8 tanks (bar the Chinese marathon tank) are heavies.
I don't really play heavies.

hump on left is comander hatch and it's inpenetrable, weak spot is behind it, on front of engine deck. on sigfied line you were good positioned, right side has no hump and they can hit your engine deck.

I guess in the correct situation (hulldown, only facing enemies in the front, and not being low tier), when pressing 2, this thing is OP. Otherwise it's ok and you have to hide your hull.

@@BESTCLIMBER well, even with this gun you can get the dispersion down to 0.35 from .42 by using bounty aiming circle and the field mod as well as vents, brothers in arms and food its what skill is running atm on his set up to get the gun to be actually fairly accurate its just obviously means no turbo
Totally agree, just spent many games trying to bounce x2 my tank hop for a campaign mission. So hard when it’s 10 of 15 players spamming gold ammo

I think after 10 years of playing this game, I figured out how to stop people from shooting gold rounds. If WG made personal missions that require you to use less than a particular amount of credits total. such as, 30,000 credits of less. Or pen normal ammo "X" amount of times, could stop the spamming premium gold op ammo. just a very rough thought

@@goldmanjace hard to make money when the player base is always getting smaller, we used to have 60k players online here, on NA, 8 years ago, then they improved the game, and we are now at about 12k players... thats F'ing why. What WG thinks is good for the players is not, and WE have the money. Happy customers= happy business. WG is based on the cluelessness of new players to keep it going. you know it and I know it.

I think this can be fixed, in the mobile version of the game i play (world of tanks blitz), premium ammo does less damage than regular ammo. around 25% less.
since most armored tanks dont have enough dpm against other tanks, others tanks can reduce their dpm by 25% inorder to pen armour easily, i dont know why wargaming (wot pc) dint follow the mobile version .
may be because they will make less money?
play it with standard crew and remove pink and purple

You have to consider "New Tank Factor" where your enemy will put more focus on the new tank to disappoint the player who is driving it to think it sucks. Alternatively, "Rare tank Factor" players know whether they are crap, or stellar, and we can prove that. The only great tank is the Progetto 46. All others have that one real weak aspect like long load times GSOR 1008, Char Futur, etc. Or obvious weakness.
You forget one thing in life - if you get something for free - you are not customer - you are the product. Basically you are working for WOT as an intelligent bot - for free! Those who pay - pay for playing with good bot.

Don't get me started on the "premium" ammo debacle. WG "should" reduce the damage that gold ammo does by 50%....This should reduce the prem spam considerably.

The AT-15 in the second game was going thru your hull unless your engine he knocked out is inside the pea brain turret. The "weak spot" beside the turret isn't that weak according to an armour viewer.
Only availlable in lootboxes. Serious trouble if they do this in The Netherlands...
If WOT is saying only 5% of the ammo in the game used is premium APRC I think they left out a number it is more like 95%
Back then i never use apcr and heat rounds . after the HE change . if im not using some gold rounds i could never kill enemy tank that hull down . some say . uh duh get gud or flank it are fucker dumpster . this is a 15 vs 15 game . where else can i go ? Flank them at the field where there is no cover ? Or the other lane thats pack with other half of the team ?
Does the crew yodel when yoloing? Thats what enquiring minds want to know.

I'm getting loot boxes cuz I need some gold, and it's the best time to get it, BUT I am not impressed by the new tanks at all, including the Tornvagn. The Emil is frankly way better! Just have to hope by a miracle I get a Skoda T56 .....
Gun handling and armor are calculated with a Russian calculator. EDIT: It will be an artillery magnet as soon as players find out it takes massive damage from HE and it looks like a spall liner, turbocharger and Improved Hardening will be necessary to survive....
A friend of mine is blind, but he listens to your battles every time you Post them. When you say "voloscity" (maybe misspelled), can you explain further... Like it's fast or slow, etc? If you say something, could you add more colorful words to give your story more depth?

The only good thing about the weak sides on the turret is that there's no crew in the thing so at least you shouldn't get any crew incaps, just hp loss and non-catastrophic module damage.
