You can tell that there's a certain level of respect that Jason Alexander has for Jon Lovitz, and that he enjoys working with him. He wasn't their typical guest.
"I've been busy" is the biggest B.S. excuse on the planet. If someone told you that you'd get a free Rolls Royce if you picked up the phone and called, you'd do it in a heartbeat.
Of course. And if someone told me that I'd get a 2-hour conversation of someone moaning to me about their problems if I picked up the phone and called, I'd say I was busy.
You can't keep a secret. You get two pair, the whole table knows! - great line. Jerry calls George out in the same fashion when he reveals Gary's secret. "C'mon George...whaddaya got- a pair of bullets? Three of a kind??...."
Jon Lovitz was always guest appearing in things in the 90's in so many projects and occasionally led his own tv show and movie but he is more recognized for these minor guest roles
his role was so interesting and could have made a great social observation. Leaving the conversation after saying something that raises more things to talk about.
Most of the main actors almost always broke character and there are still moments where you can tell they're barely holding it together. Michael Richards was better at staying in the scene and there are quite a few outtakes of him looking like he's about to yell at his cast mates for always cracking up and spoiling the take.
I was just love how Jerry turns to George to get the green light to give it to him straight and George gives the nod sitting there like he's out of the godfather combing his toupee as Jerry blows up lol
+Maddie Hearts OMG, my wife and I thought The Critic was the funniest thing we'd ever seen!! Laughed ourselves to tears when it was on! Too bad it didn't last. :(
Kramer changed his eye patch from his left (when he walked in) to his right (when his sits across Jerry). Minor detail but they should have caught that.
Anybody notice the continuity error with Kramer coming in with eye patch over his right eye then it somehow is on his left eye when sitting talking to Jerry?
This is only 4 minutes long and I laughed more times during this than whole series of some sitcoms, the lines, the movements, George posing with a toupee as if he's from the Godfather giving Jerry the all clear to character assassinate Jon Lovitz' character, its been over 20 years and it still doesn't get old. Funniest most ridiculous American sitcom ever. Nothing else they did comes close.
Lovitz is one of those guys that should've been more of a regular on the show, all day.
he could've been George's cousin or something
"It's not like he's my wife".
And the thing is, George does tell Jerry everything and he would never actually do that with his wife.
he never tells him about "bosco"
@@greenrobot5 or give him his pin number of his bank card
Jerry has a key to the vault.
Jerrry is like George's husband
You clearly never been in a relationship, you're not supposed to tell your partner every single detail of your life
Lovitz really added something to the show, which is a massive achievement when talking about Seinfeld. He should have been a recurring character.
George said,"Just ONE? I'm living ABOUT 20!" HE IS A HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PERSON.....I LOVE HIM!!
@1:40 for those in need
You can tell that there's a certain level of respect that Jason Alexander has for Jon Lovitz, and that he enjoys working with him. He wasn't their typical guest.
You got that right, Jack!
After so many years, I still crack up like crazy with Seinfeld. The best comedy show ever!
This was great
Jon Lovitz is such an underrated actor, but so brilliant!
Despite what the characters in the episode say, George does look good with that wig.
lurch321 Agreed i just personally wouldnt ever get one.
Yeah, he actually becomes quite handsome.
He's a good looking guy, I would.
@@Pagnah not me tbh
Yeh its not bad, Jason wore a wig later on after Seinfeld finished for one of his theatre productions that looked similar to this
Jon Lovitz is so underrated. High School High is a classic.
The disdain that the hair replacement guy has for Jerry, with his fists shaking as he exits the scene, always cracks me up.
"I'm living a lie"...."just one ?, I'm living twenty !"...lol.
i have watch this sooo many time i never noticed that he said twenty lol
@Modern Savage25 ...at least as Bad..lol😂..George had some of the best lines, no doubt !..cheers buddy..☘.
It's not a lie... if you believe it
One of the show's greatest lines, and the complete encapsulation of George Costanza as a person.
Same lol
He's giving me a parking space ... parking space ... parking space! LOLLL! I love Jon Lovitz and especially in this role! :)
The wig guy, Tommy, killed it in that scene.
his weird nervous posture and the way he's holding the brush. It's gold!
I think it's funny that George can't keep a secret, but can lie.
He can't keep OTHER people's secrets. Only his own.
Good for you, JACK!
yeah jack I do that always!
IsoscelesKramer jack!
Is good for you, jack! 👉
Kramer physical comedy is incredible.
Kramer & Jack Tripper were the best that's ever been on tv
@@jamesfountain6183 Although you gotta consider Tobias from Arrested Development.
i prefer his stand up routine
y jerry can never keep a straight face next to him
Chevy chase.
Lovitz brings the crazy like no one else.
"Just one ? I live like twenty !"
Hard to believe this show has been of the air for 20 years now. As funny as ever.
Yeh this sitcom is like a theatre production virtually its timeless despite the continuing years passing.
Actually over 30 years. Pilot show was July 1989.
Everybody Loves Raymond has already been off the air 15 years.
Mark S probably hard to believe that in those 20 years every major musician and comedian from the 80's is dead. HAHAHAHAHA!
M*A*S*H has been off the air 38 years - now that's a perspective of time.
Kramer lights up every scene he’s in
I died at 3:22
I adore Jon lovitz so much. He is my hero.
Lovitz is sheer brilliance.
Why is he wearing a Freddy Kruger shirt?
Perfect fit with Seinfeld
DVincentW Freddy wears green and red. That’s blue and red here.
@@nefariousnilbog agreed. Him and Seinfeld actually have the same style of comedy
@@ryanm9105 freddy wears blue and red
"You people with hair you think you're so damn superior"
God gave you a soft patch, work with it, don't criticise the artists.
3:25 Kramer's eye patch is in his right eye
3:26 it magically jumped to his left eye 😂😂
They just jumped a little ahead in the scene. He was switching because it itches.
Also, he spills what looks like soda and then it changes to a pink shake. 🤣
George: " ok whats kept you so busy? Gary: mostly chemotherapy"
For the moment, all your issues seem insignificant.
then......"i never actually had cancer"
Pure Larry David.
"I've been busy" is the biggest B.S. excuse on the planet. If someone told you that you'd get a free Rolls Royce if you picked up the phone and called, you'd do it in a heartbeat.

I swear to God that woman laughing loudly at that parking space echo gets it... the small details and effort to flesh out anything make life funnier 🤣
the moment they lose the parking space! love
"I want to be a pirate!" Kramer says it to Jerry who "I don't want to be a pirate!"
"You didnt."
"I did!"
Classic George 😂😂😂
My family and I ALWAYS say "Good for you, Jack!" to each other.
You can't keep a secret. You get two pair, the whole table knows! - great line. Jerry calls George out in the same fashion when he reveals Gary's secret. "C'mon George...whaddaya got- a pair of bullets? Three of a kind??...."
"Oh my god you got a flush!"
Hands down the best guest of the show
He for sure is a great one episode character. Should have been on more as others have said.. A legend of comedy.
Jon Lovitz was always guest appearing in things in the 90's in so many projects and occasionally led his own tv show and movie but he is more recognized for these minor guest roles
"just one? i'm living like 20"
I'll basically watch anything with Jon Lovitz in it.
can imagine lovitz at one of jerry's gig saying " it stinks " after one of his jokes bomb.
his role was so interesting and could have made a great social observation. Leaving the conversation after saying something that raises more things to talk about.
She won't talk to anyone, huh? Oh no, she won't say a word to anybody.
Well, she's talking a blue streak now, Jack!
The hand motion 😂😂😂
Jon Lovitz would have been a great regular guest. He just fits in so well with the cast.
3:22 the way he falls 😂😂
She's talking To Blue Streak now.....JACK!!!
4:23 lmao George is The Godfather and Jerry is the hitman
So George proves Gary right - he can't keep a secret.
You be nice! He's giving me a parking space...... parking space...... parking space 😆 😅

Michael Richards was better at staying in the scene and there are quite a few outtakes of him looking like he's about to yell at his cast mates for always cracking up and spoiling the take.
From 4:10 onwards, this is probably the best Seinfeld scene (apart from the marine biologist speech by George)
I was just love how Jerry turns to George to get the green light to give it to him straight and George gives the nod sitting there like he's out of the godfather combing his toupee as Jerry blows up lol

That was a great show.
I do, IT STINKS!
Great show
nobody plays smarmy like Lovitz

I love Jon! He reminds me of my dad
A 4:43 clip from Seinfeld is funnier than anything on TV in last 10+ years.
Kramer physical comedy is off the charts. 😂
I don't know why, but this episode popped into my head earlier today, and now, here we are......JACKKKKK
3:27: Kramer's eye patch moves from right eye to left magically ;)
Yeah, I spotted that too. Part of the joke, I think.
I love the way Jason Alexander delivered "I did"
Lon Lovitz cracked me up in The Wedding Singer.
We're all busy everybody's busyyyyy
i haven't watched any of this yet or read the comments but i know this is going to be gold!
did you watch it now?
Good for you jack!😂
Kramer almost smashed his jaw on that table! That wasn't just a gag, it was a legit stunt!
Knocked himself so hard his patch switched eyes, apparently
Lovitz has the perfect jerk face 🤣 I always remember his dancing in "The Wedding Singer" 🤣🤣🤣
Sandra Torres The jerk store called, they're running out of him!
Anybody notice that @ 3.23sec. The eye patch was on the right eye when he fell down. But on the left eye when he sat down.
+Sivakumar Sannasi I think he changed it on camera. This video is missing the full conversation.
Wow what intelligence to have noticed that. I like that. I pray you get more intelligent , Amen.
+JabberCT this could be true as well
JabberCT is right. He changed it on camera. Kramer says it's itchy and moves it from the right to the left eye
Sivakumar Sannasi Good Eye !!
you be nice, he’s given me a parking space.. parking space... parking space
Just one!? I am living like twenty. :D :D

Gary Fogel is one of my favorite side characters
0:49 George's shirt and the curtain. Lol

I literally just dreamt that up a few hours ago, I’m glad you liked it
John Lovitz, he is the best I love his comedy
Those rugs made them look better.
Been watching Seinfeld on Netflix recently and I caught in a later episode Alec Berg saying Gary Fogel died. 😂 Never picked up on that before
Great video jack!
Kramer swapped the eyepatch from each eye in this scene
Someone else actually noticed....
“Where the hell have you been?”
My question exactly for Jon Lovitz.
J Lovitz is too funny !
George's hairpiece gives me flashbacks to his McDonalds commercial
She's talking a blue streak now, Jack!
It's actually really loyal of Jerry to not say anything until George says it's ok.
GOOD FOR YOU JACK!
John lovitz: Got a new rug! Way to go Jack.
Kramer's eye patch switch sides when he sits down!
“you be NICE!”
Kramer changed his eye patch from his left (when he walked in) to his right (when his sits across Jerry). Minor detail but they should have caught that.
He did it on-camera. It's been cut out of the clip here for some reason.
Check this out, Jack!
"She's talking to Blue Streak now, Jack!"
Michael Cain plays amazing role as wigman

Anybody notice the continuity error with Kramer coming in with eye patch over his right eye then it somehow is on his left eye when sitting talking to Jerry?
“she’s talking a blue streak now, Jack!”
Yes I loved that show... I was mad when it wasn't on anymore. You can find it on you tube now
And Hulu
George looks really good with that wig. He should of kept it for a couple episodes atleast.
Uncle Leo and Mike Moffett could use a prosthesis too.

Duckman and The Critic. The crossover America deserves.
So the eyepatch swapped eyes😂, @3.27 it's on the right eye and seconds later its on the left🤣🤣🤣
There's a piece of the scene missing. You see him switch it after saying it was itchy.
