2)he loved his country & culture, while recognising it's disfiguring qualities..
    3) while practicing & believing as Hindu,he refused to define citizenship on the basis of it..

    7) ability to grow and evolve as his currier progress..
    8) ability of making leaders out of followers..

All wrong. You are not an Indian, you do not know the history of India correctly.
Gandhi was a British agent. He was imported from South Africa by Sir Gokhale , a staunch pro-British to expel the those who were anti-British like Lajpat Rai, Tilak, Sri Aurobindo, Bipin Pal. Then he has joined the Khilafat Movement to support a pro-British Khalifa of Turkey. Gandhi's method is not unique, it was used successfully in 1905 Swadesi movement against the partition of Bengal. He was financed by the capitalists of India. He expelled from the Congress Subhas Chandra Bose who wanted to fight for freedom. His contribution to the freedom movement was minimum, according to the British prime minister Attlee.

What about his biased decision to part calcutta to east pakistan aka bangladesh now. World is slowly understanding how racist bigot he was, we bengalis have understood long back .Though some of the loyalists bengalis like the one speaking are still in lala land .No wonder his statue was taken down in Ghana😏

He speaks because he has written biographies on Gandhi. So is only giving a summary. But it could be proper from your part to read his three part detailed biography .

I have only 2 questions fm this great history man about Mahatma Gandhi
    1. He forced a democratic elected president Netaji Subhash Chandra to leave, destroying Democracy and establishing Dictatorship in INC.
    2. Again he forced again a democratic elected PM of independent India to step down for his favourite and stooge J.l Nehru. Again destroying Democracy.
What's your take on this, I mean your opinion.

Congress president use to be elected as consensus memeber unevocally to avoid any split in party, that's what happen in 1945 between Nehru nd Patel. Only 4 times election has been held in Congress on it's whole history, rest of time president were choosen unopposed.
And on Subhash Bose matter the real person who was responsible for his removal was Sardar Patel not Mahatma Gandhi, read about it in detail you'll know.

It's style of speaking, she simply means 'Gandhi before coming to India' to be more precise 'Gandhi in Africa'

Gandhi never changed his thoughts on racism. He did not let Dalits have a separate electorate. Gandhi was racist. ramachandra guha is fan boy of gandhi. gandhi worked for the brahmins. guha is born in a brahmin family.

If someone feels Gandhiji's philosophy of non violence is correct, I humbly submit yo them to go to Kashmir , change the jihadi mind set of people and prove it is still relevant.

    • @pranavjagdish
      @pranavjagdish 5 лет назад +3

Well technically a host of groups who laid down weapons today are following Gandhi's path of non violent struggle against the Indian Government.
Whether you agree with their motives or not.
So yea! It is still relevant to them or seems to be.
Of course we are seeing a return of insurgency and militancy, but the blame for this can be put on Delhi's Kashmir Policy that started under Chidambaram and is being carried on by Modi. While India told the Kashmiris to come to the democratic process which includes the right to protest - when they did - it met them with overwhelming force to curtail their protests which has led to a massive blowback and the vicious cycle of violence continues.

@@somnathchakrabarti8453 I do not clearly understand that statement
      1. Do you mean to say that India got independence because of non violence
      2. Or not because of non violence
In any case, my statement did not propose either of those two things.
If it is (1) then my earlier response still holds.
If it is (2), then I guess you believe the Kashmiri militancy is a legitimate struggle. I have no quarrels with that view.

@@pranavjagdish i meant to say that india has got independence bcoz of many factors and non violence is one of them.It is certainly not the most pertinent. Plz delve more into the world politics then. Also the armed struggle of INA. The uprising towards the end of 2nd ww amongsts the indian soldiers. The ussr usa equation. Britains debt to usa.etc. Then u will have a more holistic view about the causes which led to independence. Similarly we need plethora of optuons available to us to deal the kashmir issue 😊

Gandhiji is a jihadi he literally allowed muslims to stay in india even after division occurs on the basis of religion now these mullahs want gajwehind due to his muslim appeasement politics we hindhus are now losing kerala,Kashmir, uttarpradesh, west bengal, Delhi , Assam if any hindhus had any doubts just stay some months in muslim dominated areas in india or else ask any intelligence officers or raw officer in your locality you will understand ground reality.
