By far the best hero tree so far
its good but i think teh best one so far is scalecommander and herald of the sun

I have to wonder how this tree is going to interact with the Fractured Frost talent, if at all.
Blizzard forgot one vital thing, how do you frostfire as a frost mage with only fire blast and as a fire mage with cone of cold. Mages have close to none access to other's specs cores. They need to work out some stuff, since turning the main filler to frostfire bolt doesnt exaclty cut it
Frostfire already exceeded my expectations. I expected just a bunch of crit and / or haste modifiers and a little more fireblasts here, and a little more icelances there, BUT this is so ,uch better 😃

16:28 - I am really surprised you didn't know that meteor can miss--it's the main frustration with Firefall and why I don't play it. The talent overperforms in sims because the sims don't take into account the sometimes-poor timing of Firefall meteors.
Were you maybe intending to ask the opposite--if you could miss *comet storm*?
but its the same as fire i mean u use ur metior in combust so its going to get both 100% crits
Maybe frostfire bolt will make frost mages take the talent that has a chance to make Frostbolt cleave on 3 targets for AoE now.
I miss necrolord frost mage so I would welcome that.
Seems like you downplayed it a lot but with Elemental Affinity Frost gets a 17.5 second base cooldown Blast Wave and a 31.5 second base cooldown Dragon's Breath. Which can then can be reduced further with Time Manipulation.
This, or it gets on demand refresh on them (could be really useful in M+ and niche raid encounters)
Frost fire bolt is the best spell and they keep removing it and returning it
They keep us edging with Frostfire which is the coolest spell concept, the tree looks so good tho, I really hope there is not so much difference between the specs, let's hope

Frostfire reads rly boring.
Atleast they could bring a 2. playstyle vs glacial...i hate that ability -.-
I wished they had brought an empowered pet line or some talents for that. But sadly no :(
basically i like the frostfire classfantasy, but mage in general doesn't feel good for me especially in m+, still being way too tank/positioning dependent, flamestrike still being softcapped is a no-go, cometstorm and meteor (such awesome feeling spells) being position locked + delayed sucks. ofc the rework did help, but still so many dead and undertuned talents, living bomb as a button undertuned, the alternative to SKB undertuned...SKB stacks and the buff being on a short timery being punished for too much time between packs, traveling in DOTI, waiting for RPs to get over, so many spells like DB, CoC, AE, frostnova, blazing wave forcing to go into melee. fire being the only range spec in the game, which is dps dependent on travel time, you only get heat up and hot streak, when the spell hits the target (WL and all other specs get their effects on cast not on hit) so standing 40m away from the target means dmg loss compared to 15m, and ofc tmporal warp talent the worst design ever, mage being tuned around every 4-5min BL, sometimes needed to hold it so long...as long as such things are not fixed, I don't see myself maining mage no matter how interesting the hero talents may sound 🤷
What are you yappin about, all mage specs are great right now, huge defensive and offensive options.

As a mage main of all three specs yeah you're just yappin here. Every ranged character in the game needs their spells to hit the boss with dependant travel time as well as many classes having aoes you dont want to move at them, hence why you wait two seconds in to use them instead of off the rip which you do anyways with meteor and comet storm. Living bomb is ass but SKB is extremely strong alowing for large combust windows especially in lust as well as giving you damage on small packs when you're holding combust like in dht. Flamestrike being softcapped is irelevant because once you start doing keys where the cap would even matter you're running ignite build anyways. It's ok to not be very good at the class but that doesn't make it bad especially when all three mage specs are top tier in M_ @@markuslc1888
@@SargeantBlue sry that's BS you obviously have 0 clue about all range specs, no other range spec needs to HIT the target for it to get its effect, every WL spell e.g. generates a soulshard, when it's cast, no matter if it's from 40y or 10y, makes no difference. really funny ppl talking about yapping without a clue 😅
