I totally get your comment that Katara should've understood Aang's struggle. But I honestly think Katara would kill Ozai in his position. The only reason Katara didn't kill that guy on the previous episode is because it would be out of revenge. But if would be to protect innocent people, she would kill anyone necessary, I'm 100% sure of it. As she said it herself in the beginning of the book: "I would never ever turn my back on people who need me"
Katara always had the most lethal attacks among the team, even before she learned bloodbending. So she can't really afford to have a problem with killing.
That and she was 100% determined to kill Zuko should he ever step out of line again (obviously disregarding when she eventually forgave him and everything) I have no doubt about that
This pictures very well how Aang and Katara's relationship works: they loved each other basically at first sight, but Aang was too kiddish and carefree to prove himself as capable of caring for her, and Katara was too somber and traumatised to be honest to herself about her feelings and tried very hard to convince herself her love was motherly or sisterly, until 'The Fortuneteller' forced her to reconsider; but from the very beginning, each one had exactly the other sought: Katara had the hope and maturity Aang needed, and Aang had the joy and innocence Katara had lost. The official Avatar channel says Aang won Katara's heart at the moment he stopped the volcano, but I disagree -- that was when she *realised* it; in my opinion the moment he actually won her over was when they penguin-sledded -- at that moment Katara's childhood was restituted.

I understand it. I just don’t know how i feel about the lesson. I think *SPOILERS* LoK season one kinda addresses the flaws of it without detracting from Aang’s beliefs or actions.

You guys make some great points that I don't often hear about the political considerations of Aang killing the Fire Lord. Not that it's the main reason Aang doesn't want to do it, but it's definitely still a smart thing to think about. If Aang just kills Ozai, what happens to the Fire Nation? Are they just going to go along with the Avatar assassinating their head of state? Would they accept his appointment of Zuko as Fire Lord? Does the war end at all, or do the generals and commanders just fill Ozai's place and continue the fight? With the Avatar showing mercy, there's much less for them to fight or argue against.
I mean, Man of Steel did exactly what you said: he was forced to kill to save lives and was anguished about it - begged Zod to stop and was in tears afterwards. I'm trying to think of other media where the the protagonist's no-kill code was put to the test and struggles with themself over it - usually it's someone else telling them not to do it. Netflix Daredevil came to mind. Has been explored in Doctor Who as well. It's not something that comes up often, strangely, considering how many action films are made.
Right, but they never really established that Superman didn’t like killing, he likely killed dozens in Smallville and thousands in Metropolis. I get that struggle but it’s never established in the movie.
Last part not necessary haha. Letting him live ain't equal to letting him be free. If Ozai be free, yes then millions will die. If Ozai is not free, then yes, justice is served...depends on what is 'not free' to you. 😁
The fire lord title after ozai becomes Phoenix king becomes a useless title it’s like a governor position but it doesn’t carry the same meaning or weight it did ozai giving azula that title just goes the show he never respected azula he just used her as a tool an ends to a means. Like here’s a little title enjoy now get out of my way
I don't think it's a 1 for 1 Iraq war troop surge situation, but trying to hold together a territory you have conquered is no small task and there are countless examples in history. More troops, new management, and harsher punishments are some of the most common reactions to crush any rebellions. Sometimes a single German killed by a Pole in WW2 would lead to 100 or more Poles shot as punishment to try to scare everyone into submission and another excuse to kill people considered inferior and take their land.

The official Avatar channel says Aang won Katara's heart at the moment he stopped the volcano, but I disagree -- that was when she *realised* it; in my opinion the moment he actually won her over was when they penguin-sledded -- at that moment Katara's childhood was restituted.
Air nomads are dead
But if the earth kingdom die, the water tribes are left
There’s a different universe where Jun joined the Gaang and I wish it was this one
she's an adult... that isn't related to any of them, or in any way shape or form a sort of mentor/teacher. It would be fucking creepy if she ever did
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😉
it starts to be epic
Love how they use the Lost ending sound
Yeah I like her to Toph😆😉☺

You guys reacting to *Inside by Bo Burnham* would be fun
MY LEG!!
You should react to the troll hunters series and then the movie that’s coming out
Well, it would be Tales of Arcadia series
@@venturera_ yeah true 🙈
You made me look it up, and damn, July 21st!? Hype!!

5:32 lmaoooo
Holy shit she’s a genius how the fuck did she predict that
Get ready for one of the most heartbreaking 6 episodes in the history of any animated show. It just keeps getting better and better.
"is it a turtle" ummmmmm wtf???? How...
Yeah, it’s crZy she called it almost exactly
Another reason Doctor Who is a top ten show for me, alongside ATLA
"and get over her crush on sokka" you mean never???? cause its never
Aang will have to choose between killing Ozai and saving millions or letting him live and condemning millions to die.
Last part not necessary haha. Letting him live ain't equal to letting him be free. If Ozai be free, yes then millions will die. If Ozai is not free, then yes, justice is served...depends on what is 'not free' to you. 😁
@@njannah97 The point is Aang will have to make a choice and not let his beliefs get in the way of what must be done for his world's sake.
It absolutely kills me when y’all put a dolphin 🐬 on the screen when Morgan laughs.
You really thought Iroh was gonna die?
You’ll hear more about Iroh’s life and the Fire Nation Royal Family, in Korra. That’s all Im gonna say.
We were told “ iTs NoT a kIDs ShOw”
I'm surprised you all didn't think of Morla the ancient one from Neverending Story!!!
We say it in the next ep!! 😉
Wow too soon morgan! Lol. RIP shereen
As much as I like you guys but you talks so much I feel you do miss a lot
I hope u’ll upload last two episodes without delay, cause it’s a crime to separate them
3 days apart, not too bad
Well, if it’s a turtle, maybe it’s an “island-turtle” because it needs to be a mix?
Yes, I know it’s not, I’ve seen the show repeatedly.
melon lord would whoop ozai's ass if she were to fight him
Woot! First comment again.
Tim’s on fire over here!!
The fire lord title after ozai becomes Phoenix king becomes a useless title it’s like a governor position but it doesn’t carry the same meaning or weight it did ozai giving azula that title just goes the show he never respected azula he just used her as a tool an ends to a means. Like here’s a little title enjoy now get out of my way
korra is coming.. 🥰🥰🥰
Maybe not one to one but they started developing the show in 2002 yand ended on the last year Bush Jr’s ruinous fucking tenure, I would be shocked if it wasn’t in the stew they were stirrin’
Have you ever heard the ironic tradgity of Henry Tandey.
A real soldier that let a VERY bad man live
