I would never have guessed that, and if it had been just one person I'd have rolled my eyes and said "you're seeing things that aren't there" but the fact that everybody says the same thing does make me wonder if my brain is just missing a piece that lets everyone else read the code somehow.

I think he is telling her that he'll take her to some place to give her a gift. - In the minute 1:20 you can see clothes of a little bunny hanging, including the underwear, but this is a detail easy to miss. - The situation is more obvious when the big rabbit takes the small bunny to the empty dark room and close the door. - Then, the snake takes her "flower" and rip off her clothes. - Finally, the same bunny who lost her button, is worried when she sees again the big rabbit greeting another little bunny. - And last thing: the big rabbit looked creepy from the beginning.

At first, I thought that this was going to be a cute animation. This anination is so sad and the music is like foreshadowing. This was honestly one of the best animations ive ever seen, for the art style and the message behind it.
I remember watching this animation when i was younger, i didn't understand anything at first. But now, i understood the meaning of this animation, very deep resemblance of kids being SA victims, to teachers, strangers, and even the people they consider close to. Sometimes, you should never trust someone from their appearance.
It is hard to form words. Many feel silence is safer. But I hope more shorts like these encourage people to speak up and trust again. Know that you don't have to suffer in the silence.

The expression off can be because they are background characters. They are not even animated. In other frames those rabbits don't look sad (but not happy either). I guess they didn't everybody happy to avoid repetition.

This was a beautifully done work. Now Im just here to point some things I wanted to say. Before the principle takes her indside the snakes are already creeping their way in. It indicates his sign of eagerness of the victim trapped and his color that is about to show. When the snake raps around the victims body it mostly indicates unconsented things. From nature snakes are known to hunt two main things. Mice and Rabbits. Rabbits are harmless animals that dont habe defence mechanisims. This makes them more vulnarable to snakes since snakes are also known to cautisously be patient with their prey since rabbits are fast. (the principle waiting for the next victim). When he lets here in and locks it, its like the rabbit is entering near the snakes strike zone. He traps her in. Now I do theorize that when he closes and leaves, the snakes might have been indicating someone else waiting for her. like the guy might actually not be the principle but a teacher lureing kids to the principle. Now I can be wrong about this. But in overall conclusion the rabbits innocence is eaten and she sits there knowing she cant tell anyone out of victim trauma or just overall scared to tell. Anyways amazing done!
1. Rabbits do have defence mechanisms, most animals do, they have claws and teeth and excellent kicking power for their size. 2. I think the idea of the man bringing her to the room not being the perpetrator, moreso an accomplice is interesting, but takes away from the message too much in my opinion. 3. I think the characterisation of the snakes and rabbits symbolises both the idea of predator and prey, as well as the facade the predator puts on. The little rabbits are characterised as you said as innocent and harmless, without a care in the world. The predator disguises himself as a rabbit (not literally) to gain their trust and come across as harmless as well. Then when the little rabbit is behind closed doors, the predatory side comes out and SA's the little rabbit. Then he lies in wait for his next victim. It symbolises how most of the time, SA is perpetrated by someone the victim knows. Random attacks are rarer, and it's usually a family member or friend. In this case, he's a well respected, well liked faculty member, and he uses this trust and tradition with the flower to get what he wants.
Everyone is like "omg the flower" in the comments. Meanwhile the child underwear on the clothesline with the snake in the tree was the first on the nose giveaway. Also the whole two birds near the end was also very clever in a disturbing way. Those are much more creative ways than the tried and true flower symbolism you see everywhere for stories like this. Very well done.
took me a moment but watching it a few times you start to notice there's a few bunnies that aren't happy when she's chosen. Then you see her not cheering either and you realize exactly what happened. This also feels like a cult situation, too, which makes it that much worse.
The part with the flower being taken away from the child was a really great choice to symbolize/make clear what was happening. Simple, effective but dark all the same. Very well done. Animation, artstyle, storytelling and the soundtrack are basically perfect.
To the people who don't understand: This short animation is a metaphor for sexual assult/sexual abuse. The snakes coming out from the creak of the door to snatch the flower from the little bunny's jacket: represents as the teacher rabbit deflowering the little bunny.. And also in the beginning when the little bunny is called up for their "prize", in the behind are other bunnies who are seen frowning and looking upset. This shows that an abuser can sexually abuse people multiple times.. If you're going through this, report it and know that it's not your fault and that you're not alone❤
This popped up in my recommended, and I thought it was related to that classic series of Newgrounds animations "There She Is" because it looked similar in art style, and I cannot read Chinese. - The flower is a very known symbol of virginity.
- The snake is symbol of evil (anybody who knows The Bible knows that), but it can symbolize the male genitals (because the shape).
- The big rabbit whisper something to the little bunny and makes a gesture of "don't tell anybody". I think he is telling her that he'll take her to some place to give her a gift.
- In the minute 1:20 you can see clothes of a little bunny hanging, including the underwear, but this is a detail easy to miss.
- The situation is more obvious when the big rabbit takes the small bunny to the empty dark room and close the door.
- Then, the snake takes her "flower" and rip off her clothes.
- Finally, the same bunny who lost her button, is worried when she sees again the big rabbit greeting another little bunny.
- And last thing: the big rabbit looked creepy from the beginning.

@@Xezlec They just listed out the obvious symbolism you missed. The snakes literally deflowered the little bunny, so the rape symbolism was pretty hard to not understand by the end. Also if not sexual assault towards children what else would this be about?

At first, I thought that this was going to be a cute animation. This anination is so sad and the music is like foreshadowing. This was honestly one of the best animations ive ever seen, for the art style and the message behind it.

I remember watching this animation when i was younger, i didn't understand anything at first.
But now, i understood the meaning of this animation, very deep resemblance of kids being SA victims, to teachers, strangers, and even the people they consider close to.
Sometimes, you should never trust someone from their appearance.
It is hard to form words. Many feel silence is safer. But I hope more shorts like these encourage people to speak up and trust again. Know that you don't have to suffer in the silence.

Reminder: In Chinese, the word "snake" (蛇) has the same pronunciation as "lust" (色), symbolizing adult content (18+).
The expression off can be because they are background characters. They are not even animated. In other frames those rabbits don't look sad (but not happy either). I guess they didn't everybody happy to avoid repetition.

Так вот сцена с снятием с девочки одежды, это аллюзия на изн#########е, "цветок" её девственность, то есть змей, сорвавший с неё цветок, это "очернение" её чистоты и непорочности

This was a beautifully done work. Now Im just here to point some things I wanted to say. Before the principle takes her indside the snakes are already creeping their way in. It indicates his sign of eagerness of the victim trapped and his color that is about to show. When the snake raps around the victims body it mostly indicates unconsented things. From nature snakes are known to hunt two main things. Mice and Rabbits. Rabbits are harmless animals that dont habe defence mechanisims. This makes them more vulnarable to snakes since snakes are also known to cautisously be patient with their prey since rabbits are fast. (the principle waiting for the next victim). When he lets here in and locks it, its like the rabbit is entering near the snakes strike zone. He traps her in. Now I do theorize that when he closes and leaves, the snakes might have been indicating someone else waiting for her. like the guy might actually not be the principle but a teacher lureing kids to the principle. Now I can be wrong about this. But in overall conclusion the rabbits innocence is eaten and she sits there knowing she cant tell anyone out of victim trauma or just overall scared to tell. Anyways amazing done!
1. Rabbits do have defence mechanisms, most animals do, they have claws and teeth and excellent kicking power for their size.
2. I think the idea of the man bringing her to the room not being the perpetrator, moreso an accomplice is interesting, but takes away from the message too much in my opinion.
3. I think the characterisation of the snakes and rabbits symbolises both the idea of predator and prey, as well as the facade the predator puts on. The little rabbits are characterised as you said as innocent and harmless, without a care in the world. The predator disguises himself as a rabbit (not literally) to gain their trust and come across as harmless as well. Then when the little rabbit is behind closed doors, the predatory side comes out and SA's the little rabbit. Then he lies in wait for his next victim. It symbolises how most of the time, SA is perpetrated by someone the victim knows. Random attacks are rarer, and it's usually a family member or friend. In this case, he's a well respected, well liked faculty member, and he uses this trust and tradition with the flower to get what he wants.
I wonder if it’s the principal tho. It could be a trafficking situation (multiple snakes).

Meanwhile the child underwear on the clothesline with the snake in the tree was the first on the nose giveaway. Also the whole two birds near the end was also very clever in a disturbing way. Those are much more creative ways than the tried and true flower symbolism you see everywhere for stories like this. Very well done.

took me a moment but watching it a few times you start to notice there's a few bunnies that aren't happy when she's chosen. Then you see her not cheering either and you realize exactly what happened.
This also feels like a cult situation, too, which makes it that much worse.
At 1:30 you can see a serpent lurking in the tree - that creeping intent runs so deeply throughout this heartbreaking animation...

The part with the flower being taken away from the child was a really great choice to symbolize/make clear what was happening. Simple, effective but dark all the same.

To the people who don't understand:
This short animation is a metaphor for sexual assult/sexual abuse. The snakes coming out from the creak of the door to snatch the flower from the little bunny's jacket: represents as the teacher rabbit deflowering the little bunny.. And also in the beginning when the little bunny is called up for their "prize", in the behind are other bunnies who are seen frowning and looking upset. This shows that an abuser can sexually abuse people multiple times..
If you're going through this, report it and know that it's not your fault and that you're not alone❤

This popped up in my recommended, and I thought it was related to that classic series of Newgrounds animations "There She Is" because it looked similar in art style, and I cannot read Chinese. Then I was like "Wait this isn't going where I think it is I hope" and then he turned around and left the room and I was like "Oh thank God" only for it to end up going exactly where I thought it was going to go. :[
As a survivor and victim of sexual abuse....I knew right away what the story was about as soon as he picked up the flower from the window seal. Powerful messages and sad.

1:31 Even before entering the room, the foreshadowing of the hanging clothes and underwear set off alarm bells for me, coupled with them now being alone together. And of course once they enter, the creator does a great job of putting the viewer on edge as the colors, atmosphere, and music change, making you realize something is wrong. Totally unsettling and so so sad :(
