I just posted the photo to my RUclips channel. This is just a crude prototype. A good friend of mine is going to 3D print one for me out of clear plastic so It will look good on the transmitter. Then I will glue it in place. I know this a crude way to solve the problem but even the crude prototype works great.
One thing that annoys me, is that the tipper is on the right steering stick. I find myself accidentally, when steering, starting to raise the tipper. I wish the tipper function had it's own independent button or switch. I don't suppose there is some way to modify the 1582 to accomplish this? Thanks very much for your valuable time.
@@toeshifter I had a similar problem with the Tamiya Grand Hauler RTR Semi Truck that I just received. They put the truck start up and shut down on the right steering stick. I'd be steering and accidentally pull back just a hair on the right steering stick and the truck would shut down. I contacted them and they sent me a solution. I had to go into the settings on the radio and change the exp/rate to 100 on the right stick channel. That alleviated the problem. Now I have to pull the right stick almost completely back to shut off the semi truck. I was hoping there would be a similar to solution for the 1582 but since the radio that came with that is obviously not programmable. No Mas. I will definitely let you know if there is a solution to our problem.
Hello, thanks for watching my video. The dump truck does not have a spot for pulling the trailer but probably could be made to by drilling a hole. Check what type of battery connector you need and look on Amazon for batteries. That’s where I got some.
Looks like a sturdy hauler. Turns look tight. my concern is the dumping angle as well. dry sand would have no problem, but a pain to load with the excavator, loader possibly. Wonder if a clear Teflon type bed coating would help dumping with normal soil dampness like you show. Dont know?? A thought only. Very cool machine. This is going to be great & cool addition to the fleet. Let's see if it can haul something, 6 pack, dirt and rocks, dry leaves... whatever. can't wait and keep them coming.
A steeper tilt would definitely be nice. I think over time as rocks and stuff wear some of the paint off the bed it will be better. Time will tell. Thanks for watching.
I found a solution to the tipper problem being activated accidentally while steering the dump truck. Reply to this comment and I will send you a photo. It works great.

@@rappman3taken I have the same gripe. Happens to me often. Not sure if that function could be relocated.

Does it tow that trailer that's in the background? I just got the Excavator; thing is solid happy so far. Where can I get extra batteries? THX
