@@AdventureTimeRC They are cool. The functions aren’t the smoothest or very quick but for the price it’s a great RC. Could benefit from better electronics.

@@AdventureTimeRC It’s pretty tough. Just the bucket tilt function is really slow and the track functions are jerky. Still fun.
Looks good man! Like you said none of this stuff comes perfect, because they do not have a quality control. But it can all be worked through. I bought one of these and the door wasn’t mounted right and would not close properly, so they sent me another one. And like you said their stuff is really scale .
Yeah its just part of the RC4WD process. I really like their stuff. I have 4 of their rigs now. Thanks for the comment.
Sweet choice! Yeah agree the discovery is the best looking among the others. Its a great scale rig at 1/24. 👊

a darn waste of money. didnt even bnother to make 6x6 or upgrade the tires, not even suspension. just a hunk of steel that will get stuck on dirt

I am moving to NYC and must sell my off roading rig, sadly. I want to get into RC. I know very little. If I want to get lockers, low gears, and bigger tires then is that possible? Do I need a welder, or may I simply solder?
The sky is the limit in RC. You can do anything. Some rigs come with locking and unlocking diffs. Gear sets can be changed, motors changed. Tire sizes are plenty. It’s basically limitless
@@toeshifter Thank you. Where do you suggest I begin learning? This is a whole new domain for me. I worked on my own truck so, conceptually, I know what I want but I’m sure this scene is totally different. Do you suggest a forum? Should I buy a RC4WD and experiment and learn the hard way?
Looks great, bud! Yea, when I first got into the hobby I got a TF2 and made the mistake of not going through it first lol. It did fine for a while, but there definitely wasn't enough grease in the axles.

Got this a few weeks back, it’s a blast to mess with. Added a few turntable adjustments and a bigger counter weight and now we’re rocking. Next is a metal bucket

What do you think of this van body? Pretty cool.
I have a black V2 and a green one coming in a few days. I loved the black one so much I had to get the green. I have the older V1 Gladiator in blue and it crawls great but the new version is definitely better. We have similar taste with crawlers I too like to collect them and do minor modifications to suspension and wheels n tires. I like the realism of the SCX24 models. Thank you 🙏

@@toeshifter I think I'm going to get this truck exactly. V3, jlu, grey. Would you recommend it? I had the deadbolt but it was used and abused for a few years and finally died.

Yes, I talked to the seller and we agreed on a partial refund. Everything else works. I can go in and fix the lights myself if I want to. Thanks for the comment.

what is tire is that? i got a d90 also. i use 85mm to 106mm
@@tjghkd the wheels are 1.55 rusted landies and the tires are 1.55 rock crushers I believe. Both from RC4WD. Thanks for watching.

I just got mine, how much run time are you getting off a full charge? Can’t seem to find any runtime estimates, bought 2 spare batteries online already.
@@NSReadingLineRailfan I guess I never really tracked it. Probably 30 minutes, maybe a tad less.

I see you got the rocks figured out. I can never get a full buck on real rocks just so hard. I don’t know why it’s like.
@@jamesskaarland-wb1vo I think it just needs more weight or it’s gotta be a pile of dry loose rock.
IMO. As an operator you should always keep bucket lower when transferring tilt back all the way and lower. You almost put it on the side 2x. On the other hand. It nice to finally see someone with the skill to get a heaping bucket. Just lower it down a little bit and you’ll be good. Just my opinion. Take from it what you will or leave it. ❤

It looks like with a little finesse you could get full buckets. All and all. I am sold. With what I have seen. I have 2 Huina 1583’s. There garbage.
