    Hi, I have tried to use the macro for the active x control however when I put the code in it says it’s not recognising the combo box even though it’s there??

      I can't think why this would happen so try a reboot first...if that doesn't work it might be something to do with your settings but I can't think what.

      It's not a problem that it expands actually. As long as you reference the entire table length the range will automatically expand as the table changes 👍

      @@Up4Excel I mean once you create the table, the table itself expands or contracts with new entries and has a name like Table1 (or whatever you like to call it). It is too bad Excel does not allow you to simply reference that table name without creating a named range.

      @@dgitson Yes, I see what you mean, it would be much better if it did that. It does when referencing tables from cells and pivot tables so it's a bit odd it doesn't do it from drop down lists.
