In a 1000 rides I have never seen a bike come up that way at the Mormon - Mormon Loop junction. Just hikers. Beyond impressive. The National to Mormon Loop to National to the saddle ride is probably too easy for you ... other than the Waterfall.
Those trails always claimed blood when I used to ride them. Never seen anyone go up the waterfall before. It was usually people standing around trying to get the nerve to go down it.
Ridiculous skill on the way up. Bonk-a-chonk-bonk-a-chonk all the way down! Apart from (or maybe including?) Nic’s stress level with the temporarily lost bag, looks like a lifetime memory kinda day.
loving it!! ever since I saw Braydon's vid with canyon I'm loving tech climbs so much and it seems it's such an underrated part of MTB. it requires so much fitness and skill and there's much less risk involved, also looking to progress in this way
7:17 I totally believe it! Welcome to daily bEast Coast USA MTB experience. The only way we get to experience gravity is through reverse gravity training. Ha! Nice work on the waterfall. Trials styles definitely made the difference because nobody’s just plowing up that jank!!
Awesome riding, and great sharing of video to get multiple perspectives of some of the cool features! SO many opportunities for disaster for mere mortal riders...
Unrelated question for you Dave or anyone else. What brand of full face helmet can you recommend for someone new to the sport? Want to get into some more complex trails and want to invest in a good full face helmet…. 😁
Well the fermentation is just right! Although Nick is already building a new bike, hard tail! But I guess you know that. When are you going to put a Hardtail in your quiver? Get back a little closer to your roots? Either way, great video as always!
i have a question i am a semi beginer mt biker who needs a new helmet i prefer flow and jumps over teck although in north van teck is hat we have to offer but do you think i svhould get a full face or a open face.
I do hope you rode Granite Mtn while you were here. Before the weinies banned motorbikes up there, we created all those trails (in the 70's and 80's.) Crybaby, Old Woman and The Trail of Whoops were favorites.

How does it compare to GoPro hero? Awesome videos by the way.
"I did it... I feel like... Death" is the most accurate desciption of what climbing that Waterfall looked like

im not going to lie going up "the waterfall" is one of the most impressive things i have ever seen you do.
I second that. That was a thing of beauty.
It's crazy to see things that would be reasonably difficult to hike normally, and Dave's like "Ima do it on a bike"
Especially on flat pedals
@@Lizlodudewhen u have experience mtb-ing, a lot of the things you think would be easier to hike down become a lot easier to do on a bike vs hiking

Love that you’re respectful of other users
I can't tell where the bike stops and Dave starts. He's a machine!
I've only seen the Jeff's (lenosky and K Weed) make the waterfall. That's supreme company.
"Oh they know", so true Nick, lol!
Holy Hell!! You climbed the waterfall?!? I guess not everything is a drop...
Spectacular effort on the waterfall
“There you go Dale”. I laughed so hard at that comment. 😂
Truly horrible!
hi
I really love that squishing sound of front suspension! Something only us mtbikers would appreciate..
How much air in the tires for that kind of rocky terrain?
Ridiculous skill on the way up. Bonk-a-chonk-bonk-a-chonk all the way down! Apart from (or maybe including?) Nic’s stress level with the temporarily lost bag, looks like a lifetime memory kinda day.
dude, nice job climbing the Waterfall! I first rode Mormon/National in the late 90s. I should get back there.
How is this man so good at climbing like this I’m already impressed a minute and a half into the video
Looks way worse than I remembered haha, nice work cleaning that! 🔥🔥
I'm hooked on these videos. Mountain biking looks so fun.
You are correct. It is.
It sure is!
It is
It absolutely is
Dude your legs must be hella impressive.

keep the tech climbs videos coming pls!! there's too few of them
You gays just killed it. 🫡
LMAO this sounds like the punchline to a bad joke

That climb was insane. Very impressive!
Awesome riding, and great sharing of video to get multiple perspectives of some of the cool features!

I did the hike-a-bike up Morman last autumn…brutal but wow what a hike!
That ride down was a thrill.
Wow, Dave, you're an animal at those tech climbs.
PS congrats on all the new subs (wow!). Really love this type of content. Guess others do, too 🤘
I don't think that if i pick up an insta 360 , my riding will be as nice as your 😂😂
Unrelated question for you Dave or anyone else. What brand of full face helmet can you recommend for someone new to the sport? Want to get into some more complex trails and want to invest in a good full face helmet…. 😁
Classic example of adventue and achievement in the climb and adrenalinnin the downs. Epic ride!
Climbing Mormon from 24th street is not for the faint at heart! Most people only go that way as a descent.
man you're an incredible rider, Iwish I was as agile as you are on a bike, I have no skils to move my wheels that easy
It’s been a while since we’ve had panting Dave on the channel
Lol that first bit "are we sure we're going the right way?"
I guess not XD
Wow. I was exhausted just watching you. Really cool trail. Thanks for the video :)
"Mormon." "Oh My God." As a Mormon, I find that hilarious.
first and i just wanna say i love your channel, your such a awesome rider, you have inspired me to do so much
Nice, do you feel that the X3 is pushing the helmet down during harder landing due to it´s own weight and leverarm?
Well the fermentation is just right! Although Nick is already building a new bike, hard tail! But I guess you know that. When are you going to put a Hardtail in your quiver? Get back a little closer to your roots? Either way, great video as always!
“Oh they know” lol
Making all the right moves and all the wrong noises 😂
Go get it Dave the beast don't rest
Most people just ride down those trails. Good on ya for going up em. Morman is even better on a DH bike.
Why take the easy, 'everyone takes it' line when you can choose the 'Dangerous Dave' line on trails - Another epic triumph of a video!! :)
For reals great climbing dudes!
Wow! Awesome riding!
BEAST
dave needs a special first gear thats just massive, he would climb up walls with that thing
Gnar brah
Dave sounds like a anime protagonist
What’s your bike setup? Your suspension looks pretty soft and active? Did you keep it the same as when you’re back home riding skinnies?
Never mind I found your bike check ha
you're a beast! that's so cool!
Your a beast man.. enjoyed the video 💯
i have a question i am a semi beginer mt biker who needs a new helmet i prefer flow and jumps over teck although in north van teck is hat we have to offer but do you think i svhould get a full face or a open face.
That doesn't look easy to walk, much less ride.
Sick!!!
dude if you come to Tucson please hit me up me and my wife would love to meet you!
Climbing up from the east side of Mormon is way easier.
Epic!
❤
I do hope you rode Granite Mtn while you were here. Before the weinies banned motorbikes up there, we created all those trails (in the 70's and 80's.) Crybaby, Old Woman and The Trail of Whoops were favorites.
You should ride with Jeff Lenowski
Phoenix or Tuscon?
Phoenix.
Spaghetti arms!
i think my meniscus tore 5 times by just watching
Hi dave im from indonesia
You definitely need some trials skills before riding in a desert landscape.
Where my meta, m8?
I almost died while riding a bike so.
Waayy too many hikers.
Are you single??
